INGREDIENTS

2 large Russet potatoes 🥔
1 tbsp Cornstarch 🌽
1 Egg 🥚
Lots of Salt for garnish 🧂
Oil for frying (I used avocado oil) 🥑

HOW YOU MAKE THEM

1️⃣ Peel then chop each of your potatoes into 3 equal pieces.

2️⃣ Salt a pot full of water and then add in your potatoes. Put the heat on high until the pot begins to boil, then turn down the heat to medium-high and let boil for 10 minutes.

3️⃣ Now strain the potatoes and let them cool.

4️⃣ Now grate the potatoes and throw them in a bowl. Throw in your 1 egg and cornstarch. Mix it until well combined.

5️⃣ Now form your handheld hashbrowns on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Now let them rest in the freezer for at least an hour.
