How to perform this movement?

Here’s a simple guide for straight bar push downs targeting your lats:

1️⃣ Attach a straight bar to the high pulley of a cable machine and adjust the weight.

2️⃣ Stand facing the machine, grab the bar with hands slightly wider than shoulders, palms down, arms fully extended.

3️⃣ Keep feet shoulder-width apart, knees slightly bent, engage core, and maintain a straight back.

4️⃣ Keep elbows close, exhale as you push the bar down using your lats, not just your triceps.

If you have broad shoulders or are an inverted triangle shape then this one is for you. 

Another topic that was requested after my styling stories sticker. 

🔻 A lot of the things that were applicable for large busts also apply here so you need to consider sleeves, necklines, fabric and detail. 

🔻 Fundamentally you don’t want to add any additional width to your shoulder line so that means paying attention to where seams sit, avoiding details that add width like puff sleeves and being careful of batwings, dropped shoulder etc 

🔻 Necklines - similarly you want a neckline that slims the shoulders rather than one that adds width. V necks or other lower styles will do this whereas wide necklines such as slash, Bardot, off the shoulder will all add Tops For Heavy Busted Women, Larger Bust Outfits, V Necks, Black Tees, Inverted Triangle, Broad Shoulders, Silver Flats, Big Bust, Stripe Shirt

STANDING WEIGHTED KNEE DRIVE W/ CRUNCH

Not only are you crunching in the core for a major ab burn but it’s a double move by adding in the weight/half press which keeps the tension in the arms & shoulders. Sculpted arms will never be out!!

PRO TIPS:
+ exhale as you crunch in
+ keep the elbows aligned with the shoulders and don’t extend the weight all the way up
