I prefer the Helen Von Stein variety because of the beautiful rosette shape. Lamb’s Ear look better with a little maintenance here and there throughout the season to make sure they stay tidy looking and so they don’t crowd other plants. They grow fast so staying on top of their growth may be needed (unless you want it to be a ground cover and spread fast - if so, you’ll love it and won’t have to do a thing). I have six lamb’s ear just in this front yard garden. I have about 20 in my entire yard, so clearly it’s one of my favorites. I plant it in full sun, part sun, and even in areas with only dappled sun.
