Woke Up To This!

Interesting how the photos look black and white.

First, the boys went out to the pasture to eat grass through the snow, then they came back under the shed roof to their hay nets.

At 10:30 the spaghetti dinner committee arrived for an update and it lasted until noon.
After lunch Little Wonder and I took a nap.

Then I made a big pot of lasagna Alfredo soup that was loaded with onions, Italian sausage, spinach and mushrooms.  It also include 8 pieces of lasagna that I broke into small pieces, chicken stock and homemade Alfredo sauce after the noodles were soft.
Fortunately all the snow melted, but it was still very windy.  This time I put the horses in before dinner.
Full of mud as usual.  So glad they had their sheets on....it felt very bitter.

Dinner was simple and delicious.

Night all.

An Outrageous Day!

Started off alright.

At 11, a friend came up to help me get back on FB with two factor authentication via a key. What a bomb.  We tried it at least 10 times, would get to the last step and it would not work.  Short story, we ended up trying to get help and I believe I was getting hacked.  Cleaned my computer twice to make sure we got rid of everything and now I will send back the keys and stay off FB.  What a creepy experience.  We wasted two hours.  It's so easy to get scammed if you are not tuned in.  Now, I hope there is a way to dump my FB app.

I had to go get a mammogram at 2:15.  Was on the phone with these jerks until 1:30,  had no time to take a shower, and wore my barn ensemble to the appointment.

Back home in no time.  Later got my results.  Normal.  So appreciative.
Gary had a 5pm appointment and around 5:30 there was a knock on the door.  It was an adorable young woman who was casing the neighborhood to see if people were interested in switching from Spectrum to Frontier (which was just purchased by Verizon).  We talked for awhile and I needed to go put the horses in early as the temperature dropped like crazy and the wind was nuts.  Sumaje asked if she could see the horses before leaving so I invited her to come along.  Her first time to be near a horse.

She was very comfortable around them....I'm sure they could feel her vibe.
Told her to check out these photos tonight and if she is ever out this way again, I have a feeling she will stop back in.

Gary was home by the time we were finished.  She met him and had a cup of tea before leaving.
Dinner?  Meatball subs...(open faced) and a spinach salad.
Night all.
