i’m having flashbacks to working at target when people would bring bags upon bags of used children clothing to return because of something they called, “the cat and jack policy,” which wasn’t actually a real policy just something they saw on tiktok, but of course we had to accept the returns so naturally none of the clothes had tags with barcodes on them because they were like. months to a year old. so id have to dig through bags of disgusting used stained childrens clothing and find the tiny little number on each individual tag inside the piece of clothing and type that in. instead of like just buying second hand clothing or even donating those clothes or even bringing them to a consignment shop where they could give you money for them, they brought them right back to target and returned them just so we could throw them all out.
