Unused “death from electrocution” animation found in the files of the Nintendo Switch version of Mario vs. Donkey Kong. Note that one of the poses Mario assumes is his “victory sign” pose.
As electricity has the effect of involuntarily moving a person’s muscles, it is likely that this was intended to be interpreted as Mario making the sign involuntarily rather than being particularly excited or happy about dying.

“…making the sign involuntarily rather than being particularly excited or happy about dying.”
That’s too good, god damn.
Been forgetting to post this here, but here’s @avengedog ’s Gonzales. Was pretty fun doing these for him.
Hey, I really love those dynamite dudes! What's their story? I take it they're an invading alien species?
And I also noticed some of the characters were noted to be "short range", "long range", etc. Were these part of a game concept?
It’s appreciated, Cide. Thank you.
You’re right about invasions and game concepts.
The aliens are just some generic dudes that do the typical thing and destroy/pillage Earth for it’s resources, since they destroyed their planet.
The junk i wrote about their range is some nonsense about their behaviors I used to tread about in my head. Here, I was just really tired and wrote how I felt ages ago about their behavior without elaborating or exploring.
Thanks for the ask. I do not deserve that kindness. Thank you.
