throughout history, the wealthy and powerful tend to create a set of rules for themselves to follow- european gentry, for example, developed specific rules for speech, dress, eating, manners, etc etc. and to some extent these rules did restrain them, but at the same time, it gave them power- by following these rules, you show your status as someone with power, both to other powerful people, and to those of lower class. certainly there were nobles who chafed under these rules, but the vast majority of them, consciously or subconsciously, accept them as the price for power, even enjoyed performing them as a status symbol. it would be ridiculous to say that the nobility was oppressed by feudialism- they wielded incredible power and freedom to use that power to hurt others, even if they had to play by a handful of rules to do so.
this post is about men.

What is this, 1671?
Yep. Here’s another piece on the same raid.
Also here’s some screen grabs from Instagram of the events in question.
shit ton of people are repeating the thing about hayao miyazaki saying AI art is an “insult to life itself” and just as a reminder he was talking about the zombies that team made that were intended to be scary in how much they shook, but instead reminded him of his disabled friend. the insult to life itself was referring to the team trying to make scary real symptoms that people live with.
it was a quote about ableism. if he has said other things about AI type stuff, that is a different thing. but that specific quote was about ableism.
this is the full quote.
It’s not just to have a “do over” that doesn’t involve the original cast, it’s to cut them out of the royalties. Literally the entire point is to make sure all the money made by Harry Potter goes to transphobes or people willing to work with transphobes.
If you watch it, you are supporting bigotry, hate, and oppression. That’s just objective reality. All for a story that you probably have already seen in movie and book form.
#the last point is especially true since the old cast receives royalties for anything with their likeness on it#meaning the original trio still gets money for every mug with their 14 year old faces on it#if they stop making those and replace them with the new cast which they will the old cast gets cut off completely#which is again exactly what rowling wants because she cannot stand those ‘ungrateful brats’ as she would likely put it#and as she has last say in anything that gets made in harry potter paraphernalia this might also explain the decrease in faces on products

I hate Rowling so much.
I’m homeless guys. I got into an argument with my narcissistic Christian mother and she got a protective order from the court. The police came to the house last night and they kicked me out. I’m staying at my brothers house for now. I have to go to court On April 2nd. My Mom will most likely ask the court to kick me out of her house for good. I’m going to start looking for a pet friendly room to rent for me and Challa. Also my phones service is wacky and my brother doses not have wifi. So getting ahold of me might be difficult for now. Any funds that are sent to me will help me to find affordable housing for me and Challa. $SophiaChes PayPal Sophiachester@hotmail.com and my venmo is Sophia-Chester-1
I’ve found a room to rent that’s in my price range and also accepts pets. Any funds sent will go towards the $400 I need to put down to rent the room and also first months rent. I would appreciate any help because I can’t go back to my mothers house.
Honestly I want to set a rent goal of $2,800 because that will pay for my rent for the next 4 months and will give me the chance to find a job.
@ororomunroedontpullout can you share this please.
