I’m Sorin! Adult, he/it, genderfaun, Autistic (prof dx, pro self dx). Multi-fandom blog + some serious topics.

I’m not revealing too much because everyone’s entitled to privacy but like I’m real and this is my proof lol. I tend to reblog a lot without tags so please tell me if you need a trigger tagging! Although there likely won’t be anything dark or nsfw here anyway. 🌞

And if you could read my original stuff on Wattpad that would be cool of you 💛

And if you could click my Pokémon please?

last night my partner held a somber little passover seder to show me what it’s about and when they got to the part where they were supposed to open the door for elijah they paused, frowned, and said “oh. huh. there is a clown.” and I looked out. and sure enough. there was a clown.

Last night during the seder: a comic panel of black and white lineart depicting tumblr users Draconym, on the right, and their partner Chaumas, on the left, sitting at a dining room table. Several of the things on the table are labeled, such as wine, salt water, a plastic egg, and a plastic lamb.ALT
Draconym stands up from the table, saying "Okay, now this is the part where we open the door for Elijah." In the next panel, Draconym is peering out of the front door window and saying "Oh. Hm."ALT
Draconym, looking out the window, says, "There's a clown." Chaumas, rising from the table, responds, "a what?" "A clown." They both go to the door and look outside.ALT
Three panels: a view out the door, over Draconym's and Chaumas's shoulders, at the street outside, where there is a clown casually walking down the street. A closeup on the clown. Then, the clown resumes walking down the street.ALT
Draconym and Chaumas standing on the porch of the house, looking outside. They each look bewildered and are saying "huh."ALT

“Men in dresses are seen as bad, but women in pants aren’t!”

is not the statement that “men can’t be feminine but women can be masculine in society” that you think it is.

Let me introduce: women with facial hair. Full beards. Mustaches. Bald women. Bodybuilder women. Women with visible body hair. These aren’t “more acceptable” than men in dresses.

Pants don’t have a gendered association anymore, while dresses do. There is something to be said for that, but it certainly ISN’T “masculine women are acceptable now.”

Also please note that the trousers intended for women to use are cut differently, as are the ‘gender neutral’ shirts and suits. Items of clothing are still very much shaped so that women wear the 'correct feminine version’ and they are very much ridiculed, harassed and even assaulted for wearing clothing that is shaped for men. Ask a good number of trans mascs or heck even cis butches. It’s the patriarchal way of keeping women in clothes that accentuate the fact they’re women whilst seeming to offer some kind of neutrality or equality on that front.

Not me being recommended a meme that was simultaneously transphobic and racist and full of people tagging it shit like ‘troon’ and 'cult of the lgbt’ and leaving long comments about why exactly a trans woman would be deemed inherently repulsive!!!

looking up certain terms in order to add people to my blocklist gets me hit with the most disgusting of takes

‘TME’ people in theory includes; trans masc and trans neutral nonbinary people, binary trans men, cis men and cis women.

So by this person’s reckoning if you’re:

- a straight trans men you can’t be t4t or you’re Up To Something

- a t4t nonbinary person who prefers trans women or you’re Up To Something

- a cishet man or cislesbian who just prefers trans women and trans femmes or you’re Up To Something

But also by this same logic all straight relationships are dangerous because of the existence of misogyny. Now where have I heard tha- oh yep that’s right, radfeminism. Nothing new then.

…. so anyway i love being a man and being masculine

being a boy or a man or masculine is really awesome and i think there should be more trans boys/men/mascs in the world

I love OP for literally just saying out loud that they’re like this specifically because they have extreme issues with having been perceived as masculine and hate trans men for that reason like wow way to lay it all out there if more people were this mask off about it I wouldn’t have to write out really long posts dissecting it

The world would not magically be better without men, it’s not masculinity and maleness which causes neofascism. What a leap!

Taking out your frustrations at the world and/or your own experiences on trans mascs doesn’t make you a good person. It does make you a transphobe and a radfem though and that is the only thing here anyone should be embarrassed about.

Anyway I did some black outs

It was really saddening to hear of the blatantly antitransmasculine experience the friend of a friend is going through with absolutely no way for us to help because he won’t accept it no matter what is said.

He’s dating someone who refuses to use he/they pronouns for him and only uses his deadname, to the point where he’s just accepted that he’ll never be correctly gendered by his partner and plays it off as ‘I guess any pronouns are ok’ whilst it’s clearly not.

He’s also engaged to the partner, who firmly said that no he couldn’t wear a white suit to the wedding, he has to wear a dress. Once again they gave in and said 'well I guess I am the woman one’ whilst not identifying as a woman at all.

It’s so clearly obvious that their partner is repulsed by any masculinity they show (also forbidding medical transition and wearing a binder) and they’re just accepting it 'because love’.

This is what happens to so many trans masculine people, they get worn down and worn down by 'people who love them’ until they detransition or may as well be detransitioned because they’re still made to play the role of 'woman’ whilst being convinced they’re fine with that actually no matter how they feel really.

And if trans mascs are being made to live as women and having their voices silenced, nobody will ever know they existed.

as a woman with elevated testosterone (pcos) who uses steroids (asthma inhalers) i must say i am feeling very cheated in the athletic prowess department. when is my dangerous masculine olympic level strength and speed supposed to kick in. do i need to go to professor x

1) PCOS is a hormonal disorder not a chromosomal disorder. You are likely not intersex.

2) Asthma inhalers aren’t strength muscle steroids they are lung muscle steroids that RELAX the muscles so you can breathe. And they worked exactly how they are supposed to.

ILLITERACY AND LACK OF BACKGROUND KNOWLEDGE DETECTED!! OP WROTE ELEVATED TESTOSTERONE AND NOT “INTERSEX” ANYWHERE! REPLIER DOES NOT KNOW CORTICOSTEROIDS IN ASTHMA INHALERS ARE IN FACT BANNED IN SPORTS! YOU WILL BE SENT TO A FORCED RE-EDUCATION CAMP TO RE-LEARN SECOND GRADE READING! AND FOURTH GRADE “LOOKING THINGS UP”! BONK!

I don’t think it’s really appreciated sometimes just how hard it really is to stay completely stealth even when you pass.

Recently in order to apply for a job my fiance has to provide evidence of various things. At first it seemed that to satisfy one of the criteria he only had his birth certificate which would have outed him as trans.

For myself, the easiest thing I have as evidence for one of the usual criteria has my dead name on it, which would out me as trans.

Just to apply for a job a trans person may be completely outed, losing whatever ‘cis passing’ or misc 'privileges’ we’d borrowed otherwise.
