⭐️ Kromer from Limbus Company is a Córdoba fighting dog.
Purposely bred for the sport of dog fighting until the early 20th century, this Argentinian mastiff cross became extinct after dog fighting became illegal in Argentina in 1954. In 1954, Argentina passed Article 3.8 of Law 14.346 on the Ill-Treatment and Acts of Cruelty to Animals which explicitly prohibits “carrying out public or private acts of animal fights, fights of bulls and heifers, or parodies [thereof], in which animals are killed, wounded or harassed.” Already quite rare and with no other purpose, the Córdoba dog became extinct. Their ears were usually cropped to ensure that they wouldn’t be ripped in a fight and they were inbred so profoundly that (allegedly) rather than reproduce the dogs would attack each other. These dogs were bred into the Dogo Argentino (a very sweet dog, by the way) and survive through them. this is just laika’s opinion, but i feel like most of the reason the dogs were so aggressive wasn’t because it was just “in their nature”, but maybe more due to the fact all they were used for was having cruelty dealt to them. but y’know, now none exist and theres no one who could corroborate that lol.
