Notes
[edit]Aristolochia macginitieana J. Freitas & Doweld is a fossil, described based on leaf remains from the Rupelian (Lower Oligocene) sediments of Redding Creek, California, USA.
Holotype Nº 1029 in UCMP (Palaeobotany Collection), Museum of Paleontology, University of California, Berkeley, USA.
The new name is dedicated to Macginitie, who made important contributions to palaeobotany in North America and described originally Aristolochia triangularis Macginitie.
