I mentioned this elsewhere, but if you see a post of mine that I have locked and are interested in reblogging it, just let me know and I will more likely than not allow it and unlock it, though I get the final say bc I may have specific reasons for not wanting a post to spread around!
Most of the time, I lock posts bc they’re not polished and it will drive me insane if I find a typo or poorly constructed sentence later and it’s too late to fix it bc the post is already out there, but if you ask, I can check it over and make any edits before it goes out lol
ADDED: Editing to add tags for certain topics now that I’m trying to tag shit lol, but I will polish this later lol
I know the figures in the foreground are out of focus, but the camera on my iPad always does that if the background is intricate and complicated, which stone and other similar materials often are - but usually, I can fix it and switch the focus by tapping on the foreground, yet it didn’t work this time, and it was cold outside, so I just accepted it fir what it was and gave up lol
‘As a white person, we as white peoples need to listen to pee oh see and learn to shut up!!’
Okay, so why are you not doing that.
Without fail, whenever there is a post telling white people to shut up and not say anything on certain posts, the notes will have white people saying, ‘As a white person, this is so true! My fellow white people, we must do better! When I was in kindergarten, I was racist and [life story about becoming a good white person!]’
That said, be careful about criticisms of healthcare in Canada bc while there are a lot of criticisms to be made coming from the left, there are also criticisms coming from the right that are anti-socialized healthcare and pro-privatized healthcare rooted in prioritizing rich people and being anti-abortion - I remember there was a very popular post on here years ago criticizing the healthcare systems in the US, UK, and Canada, and people were reblogging it as a progressive post, but it was actually a fascist meme.
Every time I think about Americans idealizing Canada’s healthcare system, I think about that ridiculous post on here that was like, what if Breaking Bad took place in Canada, and there was a screenshot of Walter White getting his cancer diagnosis and the doctor saying he will start his free chemotherapy next week, and like, sjgrkgsjgduurrgd that is not how healthcare works in Canada at all lol
Why are Americans still banging on about fleeing fascism by running away to Canada and Europe? Do you know what is happening in those places in terms of politics, or are you going off weird fantasies of Canada and Europe being progressive utopias with free healthcare?
