Electronic Extractionary Election (Voting) An Islamic Sufi Approach to Improve Democracies

In this paper, by a glance at the general and conventional form of elections in countries, the im... more In this paper, by a glance at the general and conventional form of elections in countries, the importance of &quot;counselling&quot; and &quot;decision-making&quot; is pointed out, and the shortcomings of democracy and election, and the background of Electronic Voting are discussed, and then the stagey Extractionary Election (Voting) is stated. Design/methodology/approach: In the proposed manner, in the first stage, the people of the society elect people among themselves. In the next round, the elected people will elect newly elected people among themselves, and these people will then elect some newly elected people among themselves. This procedure is repeated until the number of selected people reaches the necessary quorum to fulfil the desired positions. Findings: The advantages of this method over conventional election are mentioned that improve the electoral process and promote democracy. Research limitations/implications: When Electronic Voting is added to this procedure, its efficiency is highly increased. Practical implications: Combining this method with Electronic Voting reduces fraud and cost of election holding and distorted votes. Social implications: Extractionary Elections can adjust the influence of parties on people&#39;s votes and prevent the advertisement-based channelization of voters to specific candidates and parties. It removes discretionary supervision and reduces the intervention and influence of elites and power-holders, and increases the voters&#39; freedom, enthusiasm and collective wisdom. Originality/value: Extractionary Election was adopted from Moses (AS), who selected the Israelite elites to take them for the appointment of the Lord.

Insurance and chain bankruptcy theory

This paper aims to explain the effects of the bankruptcy of one firm in other interrelated compan... more This paper aims to explain the effects of the bankruptcy of one firm in other interrelated companies which are in connection with the bankrupted firm, and shows how the insurance breaks the chain of serial bankruptcy. Design: By economic analysis of insurance, the "chain bankruptcy" theory is put forward as a new theory. Findings: Through a mathematical-behavioral model, we will show how insurance breaks the chain bankruptcy in the economy. Research limitations: We have developed the case with simple modeling based on specific assumptions. In the next step, it would be extended to a more complicated and real set of assumptions. Practical implications: We show how insurance products can break serial bankruptcy in the economy. Social implications: It is shown that how insurance stabilizes the economy and make the business cycle oscillation range narrow. Originality/value: This approach is entirely different and new.

We will study the concept of equilibrium in conventional and ethic economics in this paper. By a ... more We will study the concept of equilibrium in conventional and ethic economics in this paper. By a general review of the subject of equilibrium from basic sciences' point of view, we will study the meaning of equilibrium at different levels of micro, macro, and international economics; and by considering the lust and anger powers of human being, the concept of optimizing human behavior in Neoclassical theory will be studied. The hypothesis of "rational behavior" and philosophical and the root of thoughts and human behavior modeling in neoclassical economics will be analyzed from pleasure or utilitarianism-based point of view. By putting forward the concept of "perfection" as materializing innate power of creatures, we introduce the concept of ethic science so that we will review the correctness and goodness of actions and qualities of the human being in the process of optimizing economic behavior. Level of equilibrium in the powers as prescribed by ethic science with the meaning of preventing overindulgence and under-indulgence will be discussed. The meaning of equilibrium in ethic economics is a global optimum and in the form of utility point of view, has a broader domain of qualities and intellectualities and human being spirituals always at least is in a position that is bette r than Neoclassical optimized behavior (which is a local optimum).Some qualities related to economic behavior and overindulgence and under-indulgence and their equilibrium have also been considered. Equilibrium in ethic economics means using resources and locating everything in its right position and in the direction of o btaining human being perfection. Putting things in their right position is the optimal use of them from a mathematical point of view, and perfection is defined as reaching the ultimate innate of every creature. This means that in order to maximize the util ity, resources should be used in a manner that in addition to ensuring human being material needs, assure the necessary background for maximizing mental and spiritual growth and elevation of him.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to investigate the first causes of right, law and legislatio... more Purpose The purpose of this paper is to investigate the first causes of right, law and legislation, namely, the philosophy of law. To know the principles of right, it is essential to recognise its aim. The concept of “Justicia” is in full agreement with Islamic law. The adaptation of duty to genesis and nature is crucial to distinguish the legal and illegal domains of deeds. The legislation domain is one of the subjects of this paper. Design/methodology/approach In Sufi viewpoint, justice stands for: “Putting everything in its own place that causes its utmost growth”. This definition expands the domain of legislation by focusing on ethics and humanitarian transcendence. It not only considers equal living and civil rights for all the people, but also provides more additional rights for those who are more aptitude to grow. Findings Determining law-making borders raises the major question that how far it should be extended, providing the acceptability and stability of laws. Practical implications People are not equal to each other, but this inequality is not to be for domination or exploitation of the others. It means that the talent and growth capability of every individual in different situations differ. Social implications Real Islamic justice forces that everyone receives his right due to his/her growth eligibility and up to his/her level of inherent aptitude. Originality/value The depth of this approach has not been fully discussed yet.

The general rules of diplomacy and the manner of the Islamic government's behavior with other nat... more The general rules of diplomacy and the manner of the Islamic government's behavior with other nations and governments from the viewpoint of Sufi mystics are investigated. The aim of diplomacy in Islam is not only summarized in getting benefits for her country. The aim of diplomacy in Islam is to develop human transcendence by divine teachings and is superior to just material benefits and privileges exchange. Basically, the Islam's government does not look at the other countries as a source of exploitation but as a brother or neighbor attempting to organize relations. In the current system of international relations in the world, so much attention has been paid to material benefits; but ethics and spiritualities are ignored. Design/methodology/approach: Islamic diplomacy with the aim of improving the moralities and spiritualities attempts to create relations with other countries. Some principles for reaching this goal based on Islamic Sufism standpoints are provided. Findings: 23 principles are introduced. Research limitations/implications: Comparative researches in other religions' Gnosticism will be helpful. Practical implications: These principles can be used for applied debates in the field and be ended to new international regulations. Social implications: Delicateness, truthfulness, and righteousness of Islamic Sufism, may turn the attentions of scholars and researchers to this viewpoint, and a new set of regulations to be codified. Originality/value: Political scientists have not touched the topic from a Sufi point of view. This paper brings this approach to a new challenging arena for those who are engaged in.

In JFS,bank by obtaining commission works as monetary intermediatefor providing capital management services to productive activities of the firms and his engaged clients. New financial innovation of "Future Certificate" is proposed in JFS, which can create major developments in increasing efficiency and stability of money and financial markets. Design/methodology/approach A money laundering detection (MLD) system provides the necessary bases for detecting deception and fraud. Findings The underground economic activities can be detected and traced by comparing banking information and transaction information in MLD system. Background: Efficient supply chain management is a survival factor for a company and causes much ... more Background: Efficient supply chain management is a survival factor for a company and causes much rivalry benefits for it, and appropriate performance of supply chain plays an important role in success of a company from different aspects, especially its profitability. SCOR is a reference model, in which unlike other optimization methods, has no mathematical formula or heuristic solution to solve supply chain problems. Objective: looking into relationship between applying information sharing, advanced planning and their pursuant effect on SCOR indicators. For this purpose, we selected supply chain of Saipa Diesel Company as our case study. After identifying model indicators, we examined the effects of applying information sharing and advanced planning on SCOR indicators. A questionnaire was designed and filled and the data were statistically tested for collected data. Results: applying information sharing in addition to applying advanced planning have positive significant effects to improve SCOR. Conclusion: The outcomes of the research indicated that information planning mostly influences on logistic cost management. And also applying information sharing mostly influences on supply chain agility.

Design/methodology/approach A money laundering detection (MLD) system provides the necessary bases for detecting deception and fraud. Though MLD is a complementary system of the Rastin Banking system, it can also be installed and executed separately. Findings The underground economic activities can be detected and traced by comparing banking information and transaction information in MLD system. It needs to force the direct transactors or other related forms of transaction to perform their money operations through the banks. In the next step, the tax information of transactors (in a chain of transactions) can be compared with them, and the incompatibility of the two sets of data will explore money-laundering operations. Background: Efficient supply chain management is a survival factor for a company and causes much ... more Background: Efficient supply chain management is a survival factor for a company and causes much rivalry benefits for it, and appropriate performance of supply chain plays an important role in success of a company from different aspects, especially its profitability. SCOR is a reference model, in which unlike other optimization methods, has no mathematical formula or heuristic solution to solve supply chain problems. Objective: looking into relationship between applying information sharing, advanced planning and their pursuant effect on SCOR indicators. For this purpose, we selected supply chain of Saipa Diesel Company as our case study. After identifying model indicators, we examined the effects of applying information sharing and advanced planning on SCOR indicators. A questionnaire was designed and filled and the data were statistically tested for collected data. Results: applying information sharing in addition to applying advanced planning have positive significant effects to improve SCOR. Conclusion: The outcomes of the research indicated that information planning mostly influences on logistic cost management. And also applying information sharing mostly influences on supply chain agility.
