let the record show i am all in favor of "shit" and "damn" and "fuck" but at the same time, "oh brother" is just an extremely funny way to express consternation. i tried to look it the etymology and nobody seems to even know the origin. like, what brother? whose brother? my brother? your brother? all we know is that somewhere out there, A brother is going through it, apparently.
