Since im not very normal when it comes to designing im always more efficient when i design straight up on an illustration so here goes the main suitors :

Antinous (lion🦁) : loud arrogant and imposing. Will laugh at your face and threaten you in cold blood.

Eurymachus (snake🐍): hypocrite manipulative conniving bitch. Will gaslight you with a kind smile. Hates mediocrity

Amphinomous (bear🐻) : he's the answer to choosing a man or a bear. Not inherently evil. He thinks the beggar is funny (not knowing its ody). He is just a guy who's easily influenced by his terrible friends.

LFMAOOOOO INFINITE SADNESS BE UPON YOU BOTH LFMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO 🫵🫵🫵

So like, y'all know that popular Star Wars fic trope of Time Traveling Obi-Wan Kenobi where he dies and then wakes up in his 11ish year old body back in the Jedi Temple? You know how usually he wakes up, has a few minutes/hours of confusion, and then goes about trying to act like he was at age 11 while slowly fixing everything wrong with the Jedi Order? Personally I think he would not do that.

I think that Ben "Lived As A Wizard Hermit For Two Decades On Tattooine, Left, And Then Died Immediately" Kenobi would wake up as an eleven-year-old, have a panic attack, attack the nearest adult Jedi while accusing them of Doing Weird Sith Shit To His Brain, fucking flee, only then realize he has time traveled, steal someone's ship, go flying out of the temple to god knows where, continue panicking, crash into a random moon while distracted, nearly die, build a survival camp out of his broken ass ship and eat whatever bugs he can find, get kidnapped by pirates, overthrow said pirates, steal their ship, and then very calmly return to the Jedi temple like nothing happened.

Then and only then do I think he would start trying to act like a normal human person (while also dodging questions such as "what the fuck was that" and "where were you" and "is that a pirate's ship?"), except he'd be bad at it due to having lived as an Insane Wizard Desert Hermit for the past twenty years who has experienced enough trauma and time that he doesn't super well remember the details of his childhood, what with all of the wars and death and wars and such.

His acting convinces nobody, but nobody is sure what exactly to do about All Of That so he's for the most part left alone (after very vehemently refusing sptherapy), all the way up until he catches a glimpse of palpatine out of the corner of his eye and then its On Sight

I am called a great swordsman because I invented a lethal style; but who is greater, the creator of a killing form—or the master of the classic form?” “I’m very flattered that you would consider me a master, but really—” “Not a master. The master,” Mace had said. “Be who you are, and Grievous will never defeat you.”

Hot take: why the Jedi seem so  unnatural

  • There’s something about their movements; it’s too smooth, too sure. They never trip on their feet, never run into anything, and their bodies navigate crowds too easily.
  • There’s something about their eyes, too, how they seem to bore straight through the soul of whoever they speak to. They sometimes seem to begin to answer a question before it’s even asked, and they always know what words to say to placate the emotions in the room.
  • There are rumors that the Negotiator and the Hero With No Fear do not need words to communicate, that they can speak without a comm while they are miles away from each other.
  • The rumors say the Negotiator has a true silver tongue, that the reason he is so successful is not because he is a skilled diplomat but because there’s something else to his voice and words that makes him so convincing.
  • The rumors say the apprentice of the Hero With No Fear is like a bird in flight when she moves, too graceful to be fully Togruta, her leaps so high it is as if she has the wings of a convor.
  • The Rebellion loves Princess Leia. It’s like there’s an aura around her - there’s something almost unnatural about her presence that seems to make the Rebels more coordinated and inspired. When she arrives on the battlefield, it’s like she brings a little something with her that makes their minds more focused. She never misses a shot.
  • The rumors say that Darth Vader once faced an entire ship full of men and left no survivors. They say that blaster bolts are useless against him. They say the weapon he wields glows with the colour of blood. They say he is like the angel of death, merciless in his dark descent, and that by the time you hear him breathing, your breaths will soon stop.
  • They’re only rumors, of course. No one has ever faced him in battle and survived.
  • Until Luke Skywalker.
  • They say that when he smiles, you can feel his happiness from across the room even if you can’t see him. They say he always knows what planets are safe and which ones aren’t, and the one time a group set up an outpost on a moon he said was unsafe, they didn’t last a week.
  • They say that staring into his eyes is like staring into the endlessness of a blue sky, deep and beautiful and terribly dangerous. They say that sometimes, he and the princess have strange conversations that seem disjointed, as if they can hear something from each other that others cannot.

I LOVE this. I LOVE how these mirror each other, only slightly distorted.

ABSOLUTELY UNWELL that both Obi-Wan and Ahsoka have visions of Anakin-as-he-was (as they remembered him, as he was the good person they loved) that you're not really sure if it's truly Anakin or if they're projecting his visage because they haven't let him go. Absolutely punching the wall over how it's spread across the timeline, set during Anakin's time as Obi-Wan's Padawan, set during his time as Knight as Ahsoka's Master, set during his Revenge of the Sith era just before he fell, the last moment when they both remember him being the person they knew and loved. Is it really Anakin, finding a way to reach out to both of them through the Force? Anakin who certainly wasn't ready to let Obi-Wan go during the events of Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin who would want to help Ahsoka in her time of need during the events of Ahsoka, Anakin who of ALL people would find a way to project himself into his loved ones' minds and hearts? Or is it that it's not really him, but that he had the same effect on both of them, that he carved such a space for himself in their hearts that his fall scarred them for decades afterwards, that their own issues now revolved around him, Obi-Wan cutting himself off from the Force, from hope for the future, from helping those he could because Anakin haunted him so deeply? Or Ahsoka cutting herself off from connections with those around her, too afraid she would become another Vader or help create another Vader to truly embrace Hera and Sabine and Jacen and everyone else left? Obi-Wan and Ahsoka are bookends to Anakin Skywalker's library, each of them sliced open a piece of Vader's helmet to see the man underneath in a way no one else in the galaxy could, because these were the two people that could still cut into the heart of Anakin, and that cuts both ways. They held onto him just as much as he held onto them. Absolutely wailing and gnashing my teeth at the ambiguity of both of these characters having visions of Anakin that you're not sure if it's really him because they're so wrapped up in him that maybe they called him there, maybe he came on his own, maybe everything that's at the core of them both is so tangled up in him that they can't see anything else, all they can see is a vision of Anakin Skywalker.

The only thing magic about this pipe is that only certain boys can hear it! Boys who feel unloved, boys who feel lost.
