sex isn't sexy unless it's a little bit gross. have you forgotten that you are a divine ape? plastic smooth skin, plucked hair, painted faces, scripted reactions, scrubbed til only the smell of perfumed soap remains, proportions that are conflictingly cookiecutter yet unattainable, none of this is even a little bit interesting.
you can laugh at napoleon's "home in three days, don't bathe" letter to his wife, but there's more sexuality in that one line then there is in the entirety of the hypersexualized but painfully unsexy internet.
What are your thoughts on musk?
i hope he dies
so as you might have guessed because I said I was camping in the woods to avoid getting sick:
someone in my household has covid unfortunately but we did manage to get them a Paxlovid subscription. they’re uninsured, and even GoodRx coupons only brought the cost down to $1,300 USD.
I thought to check the drug manufacturer website and quickly signed up online through its portal and received a pharmacy card by email that lowered the cost to $0
There are also options for insured patients to dramatically lower their copays. I’m in the U.S., and I’m unsure whether this is applicable elsewhere, but I wanted to share this info on access to potentially lifesaving medication, for anyone it may help!
once again a promising erotic story ruins the sexiness by concentrating on sex, the least sexy part of sex.

Our The Terror February Flash 2025 collection is now officially closed for posting. (The very few WIPs among the works can still be completed, and we are in fact asking our WIP-writers to please, please really do this soon. Picture main mod Sir Boaty McBoatface with a very stern look on his face, one eyebrow raised, and his muttonchops twitching nervously. You don't want to make Sir Boaty sad, right?)
117 prompts spawned 90 works (some were multiple fills of the same prompt), both art and fic. 203,712 words were written for this event. 48 claims stayed unposted (which might seem like a lot, but it's really not bad); the unposted claims will be removed (otherwise the claimer might stumble over the ticky box on the posting form when publishing an unrelated new work on the AO3 in the future). All prompts will, of course, stay visible, even these which were left unfilled. Prompters are welcome to resubmit their prompts in the next February Flash. Or even sooner: in The Terror Advent Calendar @theterroradvent (stay tuned for the announcement in autumn).
24 creators revealed themselves for 63 works. 27 works stayed anonymous (which also means we do not know how many creators are behind these 27 works). If your work is among these 27 and you want it de-anoned, please get in touch here via Message or Ask, or on Discord (ping or DM larissabernstein). Ideally, de-anon requests should happen soon, so that we can compile and publish our masterlist in the next few days.
The 90 works have so far garnered 14,169 hits, 2,065 kudos, 585 comments, and 152 bookmarks. Let's up these numbers a bit!!
Thank you, everyone, for participating so eagerly in this event! Thank you for making art, writing fic, reading, commenting, kudosing, reblogging, discussing ideas, and cheering the creators on! Sir Boaty loves you. 🦀 💕 ⛵
