Winner of the most brain-dead character of all time!

It’s hard to reconcile that Willow that we see today with the sensible, down to earth character that we had come to know over the years.

Although the signs were there I guess. After all, Willow got her start growing up in a cult Dawn Of Day, raised by a mother who traded her daughter for sexual favors to win over the cult’s leader Shiloh.

Since then, however, Willow had proven herself to be a pillar of the community. After leaving the cult behind her, she became a teacher, then a nurse, survived the loss of a child, then found love with first a police officer (Harrison Chase) and then CEO Michael Corinthos, whose son Wiley, she adopted as her own. The two then married and had another child Amelia.

After that Willow survived a harrowing bout of Leukemia and learned she had another mother, Nina, all with husband Michael standing by her side. He was there to encourage her when she decided to leave teaching and become a nurse and never left her side when she was diagnosed with cancer.

Then with a snap of her fingers, she became another woman. She joined her “Uncle in law” Drew Cain/Quartermaine’s (I still don’t know which is which) Congressional campaign and immediately developed feelings for him.

The two shared a few kisses and began to fall for one another.

Since then, she has cheated on her husband (Michael cheated on her too, to be fair), left him for said Uncle in law and has now moved in with him, along with her children with Michael before then ink is even dry on the divorce papers, with everyone in Port Charles, including her mother, trying to get through to her about the dangers she faces of losing her children and how Drew is isolating her from those she loves.

I think Willow has never gotten over her time in Dawn Of Day. She went from being seduced by one cult leader, to another. Both men have used seduction to lure her in and have isolated her from those she loves.

What do you think it will take for someone to get through to her, or is she too far gone to be saved?

Meet General Hospital’s Newest Cast Member Adrian Anchondo.

Anchondo is now on contract with GH and will play a lawyer named Marco (not to be confused with con artist Marco Dane played by Gerald Anthony in the 1980s and 90s). Anchondo told the outlet that while his new character can be “sweet and charming,” he also has some “dark secrets.”

He further described Marco as, “Very intelligent and very articulate, which is kind of opposite of who I am as a person. I don’t find myself to be the most articulate person [laughs].” He’s played characters in the past who’ve required a lawyer but never played one himself until now. Anchondo also knew Hansis (Lucas) long before joining GH and when the actor told him he was playing a doctor, Anchondo reckoned, “If he can do it, I think I can handle the legal stuff.”

When he’s not acting, Anchondo is keeping himself busy by working to earn his Master’s Degree in Psychology. He remarked, “What I love about marriage and family therapy and psychology is that working as an actor and working as a therapist, there are a lot of similarities.” He noted that the study of the heart and the mind work in tandem, and he actually has clients at the moment.

Anchondo further explained that he’s figuring out how to juggle both careers and stated, “It’s a little challenging with trying to work around the schedule, but I love it.” He’s also familiar with GH because his late mother used to watch it, and so did his grandmother who stopped for a while but is now tuning in again. He enthusiastically stated, “She’s been getting caught up and she’s like, ‘Oh, my God, there’s so many storylines I have to remember now.’ She’s so excited and proud.”
