Set separation alerts in Find My on Mac in case you leave an item behind
In the Find My app on your Mac, you can turn on separation alerts for an AirTag or third-party item so you don’t accidentally leave it behind. You can also add and remove trusted locations.
Important: Although you can manage separation alerts on Mac, you only receive them on the device sharing your location. See “Set separation alerts in case you leave an AirTag or other item behind” in the user guide for iPhone or iPad, or Locate an AirTag or other item in the Apple Watch User Guide.
