living with chronic depression is exhausting not just because it’s depression but because I know that I’m always going to feel this way, I know I’m going to deal with this feeling for the rest of my life, I know that even when I have good days that feeling of happiness eventually disappears and I’m back to feeling like I’d be better off if I was dead, like everyone around me would be better off if I was, it’s a feeling that might go away for a bit but it always comes back.. always
