The upcoming Nintendo Switch Game Tamagotchi Plaza will support both the Nintendo Switch and the upcoming new and improved Nintendo Switch 2. That’s not all though, for those with a Nintendo Switch 2 you’ll get access to three additional shops that can be played with mouse controls. Mouse controls is one of the newest feature for the Nintendo Switch 2 where the Joy-Con’s can be used as a mouse which opens up even more ways to play!
The three exclusive shops are the sushi shop, and shuriken shop, with the third game being a mystery for now!
Players can upgrade from the Nintendo Switch version of Tamagotchi Plaza to the Nintendo Switch 2 version through an upgrade pack. A Nintendo Switch 2 console and Joy-Con 2 will be required to play this upgrade pack. The regular version will set you back ¥6,300, with the upgrade pack being ¥1,000.
Just recently teased, and now officially announced. LINE Japan has announced new Tamagotchi Corner Shop stickers are headed to LINE messenger! There are 40 stickers with many of your favorite characters with speech bubbles with phrases from the popular game for ¥300. Available for purchase in the LINE store.
Bandai Japan has partnered up with LOVERARY BY FEILER, a gift shop range by German brand Feiler known for their chenille fabric, and cute designs. The collaboration brings four Tamagotchi handkerchiefs which are 25 x 25 x 25 centimeters (¥2,970 each),
and two Tamagotchi Original pouches on keychains which are 11 x 9.5 x 2 centimeters (¥8,250), super cute!
How can you get your hands on this awesome collaboration? First off there is a lottery where you can enter from Wednesday, April 2nd, 2025 16:00 through Monday, April 7th, 16:59. Winners will be announced on Monday, April 21st, 2025 15:00 through Tuesday, April 22nd, 2025. Winners to be notified by e-mail.
The products will then sequentially be released on Thursday, April 24th, 2025 from the online store and flagship stores.

The word “Omisechi” in the title of the Japanese version of Tamagotchi Corner Shop “Tamagotchi no Puchi Puchi Omisetchi” typically translates to “shopkeeper”, but Bandai is holding a campaign on the Tamagotchi Plaza website and Twitter account asking fans to tell Prince Tamahiko what Omisechi is! You can participate between Friday, March 28th, 2025 23:59 and Monday, April 28th, 2025. There will 20 winners who will earn a print style Prince Tamiko sticker (pictured above)!
We’re going all-in on Tamagotchi Corner Shop nostalgia! Bandai Namco Nui has just announced adorable plushies available in 5 styles, all of them have their mouth open as they are visiting the dentist! Their teeth are exposed and ready to be cleaned! They’re currently listed for preorder on the Bandai Namco Nui website, and will also be sold at pop-up stores, priced at ¥1,210 including tax with a release set for May, 2025.
Bandai Japan has partnered up with Menicon, Co., Ltd. which is Japan’s largest contact lens manufacturer. The collaboration is exclusive to the “1 Day Moisture In” product, which is a contact lens product that helps keep them moisturized, soft, and clean! Simply apply a drop to each contact lens before applying them to your eyeball.
Tamagotchi x q Day Moisture In product will be sold from early April 2025 in limited quantities at drugstores nationwide in Japan in two different package designs. In addition to the product, Menicon Co., Ltd. is also hosting a receipt application campaign where you could win Tamagotchi goods from Tuesday, April 1st, 2025 through Monday, June 30th, 2025.
Simply purchase target products, and upload the receipt image from the campaign website, answer the questionnaire and complete the application!
Prizes are Course A being a Tamagotchi Connection (latest shell designs, wave 3 Japan) for 20 people, Course B being a Tamagotchi Uni for 20 people, and Course C being a Tamagotchi Original pouch for 200 people! Good luck.
