Episodes 65 and 66 are underway!
After the past 3 months of expo prep, page work, and life stuff... I'm exhausted. Very happy and humbled by SPiCE's turnout and all the compliments from the friendly crowd! But all of it has severely held back page work progress this past month, and I am SO behind now.
There will be two more episodes (65 and 66) before I take a break of indeterminate length. I am planning to do 3 more expos this year (hoping to get into all of them), continue back on my art studies to get better, and I will be taking on a few things to help myself out financially (that includes the expos.) To balance that with the comic, I need to get ahead on a backlog once again. It will take some time.
I am blown away by my readers, and am so elated to see your comments, likes, and views! It's exhilarating, and kind of surreal. It's brought me immeasurable happiness, and has kept me going during low points. It is hard to express just how happy I am, despite a lot of not-so-good things happening in life. So, I thank you all for your continued support! I will be doing my part in making Ghosts in the Attic as good as it can be through my continued artistic practices and study. Thank you so much!! 💖
A pause from episodes will happen after episode 66. I really hope I'll get enough page work done to return to scheduling episodes by July, but we shall see. Thank you to all who came out to SPiCE! It helps support our lil indie art community in the Georgia area. I think it was even bigger and more successful this year, thanks to the event organizers' hard work of months of advertising, and then their constant tending to the artists and venue all day.
It was super fun to know people this time around, and then make more friends this year! Here's to another great SPiCE coming up in the fall this year. :}
