DOG SAINT MONDAY
It’s time for another
DOG SAINT MONDAY
May I humbly add my own artwork to dog saint Monday?
You know what? Let’s be bad. Of course. A wonderful DOG SAINT MONDAY to all

Had to do a double take when I first saw this; I thought the peel was a creature. May I gift you: pineapple dragon?

Dudes, tumblr is now labeling various Shakespeare performances as Mature Content.
I still suspect they’ve got AI doing the work. Which perhaps finally proves AI is bad at art.
But I’ve also spotted videos of a dog and a cat labeled as mature. Possibly because AI just didn’t understand the videos.
Anyway, the mature content label now has no meaning. It could be Shakespeare kiss, someone’s cat or even just a shawl pattern.
The (in)famous Romercutio kiss from the italian version of the musical
Wow. I will sail that ship.
reblogged for Kelsey to help her with her Shakespeare hangover.
Thanks.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream [x]
What with the Mercutio/Romeo kiss from the other day I feel like I should have a tag specifically for “men kissing in Shakespeare plays even though it’s not in the text, but after 400 years of unresolved sexual tension it’s time.”
Asdfghjkl;:
Whaaat this is the most over the top dip-and-kiss I’ve ever seen and I love it
Tumblr has just marked this performance of Shakespeare as potentially mature content.
Which, to be fair, the Bard would probably brag about.

Was trying to figure out what project I could work on next (crochet or knit) and I ended up spending most of yesterday adding all my yarn onto Ravelry. Husband and kiddo had Easter at his mom’s house so I had lots of free time.
It’s is super helpful because now at a glance I can see what yarn I have, hooks/needles needed, fiber content, washing instructions, yardage, and yarn weight. I basically yook the entire yarn label and added it so I would always be able to keep the information on hand even if I lose the labels.
And I started adding all the projects I actually have yarn already bought for into my projects because I can keep all the pattern information, any hooks/needles needed, link yarn right from my stash into the project… It’s great.
Once I get it all finished organization wise I will have a much better grasp on what I have on hand for any given project, and be able to see what yarns I have that I didn’t buy for a specific purpose (not much, mostly just things from the Joann closing).
I am genuinely so pleased to get everything organized nicely and be able to streamline my entire fiber art process. Just being able to check the yarn I already have while on the go is lovely. Being capable of searching my yarn by weight will help so much with matching patterns and yarns.
I keep starting this then get overwhelmed by it. But I really should do it. At least for the stuff that’s not random thrift store finds with no label.
Shinto Priest with a Child. In earlier generations, the infant mortality rate in Japan was high, so infants are always blessed by a Shinto priest.

This poll is in response to a post I just saw about a Business Insider article, and it motivated me to conduct a little experiment if you would indulge me
