See, that’s what the app is perfect for.

Sounds perfect Wahhhh, I don’t wanna

Hai!! Felt I was prolly due for an update

You can call me Temerity or any variation on that, mah pronouns are she/her and I am probably human.

I’m a self-proclaimed nerd and weirdo who loves everything fantasy and sci-fi (other genres too but those are my favourites)

If you’ve read Inkheart, The Martian, or Hail Mary you are amazing and I love you. Please talk to me about these books. Also if you’ve seen the movie Stardust then we will be best friends.

I like writing! And drawing! Art tag is ‘Temerity art’ or 'my art’ if you’re interested in that.

My current hyperfixation is The Dragon Prince (you can probably tell from looking at my blog for five seconds), but I also post about and draw some Hermitcraft and Life Series stuff when I’m in the mood :D

Feel free to spam me with asks. I can sometimes take a while to respond, but I will eventually I promise. I love sending and receiving asks, it’s such a good feature.

Uhm yeah I think that’s all? Enjoy the autism website :)

In The Shadow Of Betrayal

After her parents betrayed Xadia when she was ten years old, Rayla was taken in by the royal family of Katolis. Desperately trying to escape her past, she embraced the human’s culture, becoming close friends with the two princes. Though not everything is perfect and many people still resent her, she can trick herself into being happy.

Until five years later when moonshadow assassins, including Rayla’s childhood friend Calypso arrive in Katolis.

Suddenly thrown into a web of betrayal, friendship, conflicting loyalties and romance, Rayla, Callum, Ezran and Calypso are forced to reassess everything they once believed.

The Roles We Must Play

Almost ten years after Aaravos’ defeat, Callum and Rayla are finally setting into their new normal and the parts they need to play within the castle. Though there are still those who protest the new close relationship between elves and humans, they are happy and safe.

Until King Ezran goes missing and they are forced to take the throne.

With Rayla being blamed for Ezran’s disappearance and supposed death, conspiracies left and right, halfling heirs, and very underqualified rulers, Katolis’ only recently regained stability is struggling, and coups are inevitable.

Oneshots

A do-over
Rayla’s POV at the Starscraper. Self-indulgent

Quiet Reflection
A few of Callum’s thoughts that morning on the Starscraper.

Seven Years…
Seven years is a long time, and yet far too short.
A lot can happen.
It’s easy to forget how much is riding on these years when you have so much to be thankful for.

Sing me to sleep; we’re safe now
Rayla is still struggling to adjust to their new safety, but Callum is there to help.
Just the dorks being in love and insane for each other. Also a contribution to Tategaminu’s arc 3 pregnancy cult.

Anxious Expectation
A speculative fic centering around the idea of Rayla potentially being lonely in motherhood due to nobody around her having experience in that, and her finding comfort and solace with Miyana, who has shared many of the same experiences.

My Rayllum thoughts:

On top of everything else they're facing (not having biological parents around to help, no mother figures around for guidance...), their firstborn child only has one horn.

And none of the elves around them really know how to help since single-horned elves are so rare. Not even Lujanne has much in terms of advice.

.....And then look who shows up who not only knows how to work with the difficulties of a single-horned baby, but did it well...for as long as he could.

i need feminism because when jesus does a magic trick it’s a goddamn miracle but when a woman does a magic trick she gets burned at the stake
