Fun Publications Shattered Glass continuity

Buzzsaw took part in the attack on the Ark's launching platform, though his actions during the battle went largely unrecorded. When Megatron eventually emerged victorious, Buzzsaw retreated with the rest of the Decepticons. Shattered Glass

Linkin Park × Transformers

The Linkin Park × Transformers Buzzsaw figure was officially repurposed as Shattered Glass Buzzsaw.

    • Accessories: Left and right "Twin Mortor Cannons", tape case
Linkin Park Buzzsaw is a gold and ... also gold redeco of Laserbeak. He's packaged with Linkin Park gold redecoes of Soundwave, Ravage, Ratbat and Laserbeak (to whom he is completely identical) on a flocked-purple plastic tray inside a special commemorative box. He has no stickers, factory-applied or otherwise. Linkin Park Soundwave: Special Edition was exclusive to SURU and limited to 2000 pieces.

Notes

  • Buzzsaw and Laserbeak presumably derived their Earth condor modes from the same transmissions as Razorclaw, Rampage, and Divebomb, though why they would choose such a form as their primary mode remains a mystery.
  • His yellow-with-gold-weapons colour scheme is almost certainly based on Steeljaw's, with Laserbeak taking those of Ramhorn.
  • Buzzsaw's speech quirk in Recordicons is based on Woodstock's from Charles Schulz's comic strip Peanuts.
