The name or term "Deepdive" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Deepdive (disambiguation).
|
- Deepdive is a Gigantion Mini-Con from the Cybertron portion of the Unicron Trilogy continuity family.
I'm sad that I'm floating.
Deepdive used to be a maintenance worker in Gigantion's artificial water ways, but has since become a member of the Giant Planet Mini-Con Team, a gang of rebels whose main goal in life seems to be to cause trouble for the rest of the planet. At least, that's the goal of the other two. Deepdive doesn't really like to cause trouble (he's miserable enough as it is), but he hates being threatened by Overcast and Longarm for not helping them out even more. He simply hasn't got the lugnuts to stand up to them.[1]

- Giant Planet Mini-Con Team (Scout-class, 2006)
- Cybertron Deepdive transforms into a submarine of undetermined, possibly-made-up model. As a Mini-Con, he can attach to larger bots that have compatible Powerlinx plugs. Curiously, his conning tower is itself a Powerlinx-compatible plug!
- He was only available in a three-pack with his teammates Longarm and Overcast, sold in the eighth wave of Cybertron Scout-class toys. This set also happens to be the final new mold-set released in the Scout assortment, and is one of several Cybertron Scout molds not sold in the Takara Galaxy Force version of the line.
- Several stock images of Deepdive are mistransformed: his head is not flipped into position, and the arms are flipped upside down, making his large shoulder pieces appear to be very long arms. The upside-down arms ended up being referenced for Deepdive's packaging artwork.
- This mold was also used to make Astro-Sinker, Seawave, and Diveplane.

Notes
- The Giant Planet Mini-Con Team's packaging marks them as Decepticon-allied, though the toys do not have any faction symbols other than the sculpted Mini-Con sigil.
- Deepdive's personality is written in reference to Strong Sad of Homestar Runner, with the others filling out the remainder of the Brothers Strong.
