This article is about the heroic Decepticon. For her evil counterpart, see Flamewar (G1). For a list of other meanings, see Flamewar (disambiguation).
Flamewar is a heroic Decepticon from the Shattered Glass continuity family.

Ironically, less loyal to the Decepticon cause than her evil counterpart.

Flamewar has a chip on her shoulder. Once a member of the crew of Cannonball's Rising Sea, she lost her captain not long after the crew joined the Decepticons. While she found a new leader under Megatron, she thought she lost him too after their defeat on Earth, and after his return chafes under his patient leadership. The war has embittered Flamewar, and her faith in the cause isn't what it could be, her focus on payback against the Autobots who took her captain from her. But despite her misgivings with the Decepticon leadership, she's never lost sight of what truly matters to her: her crewmates and friends, Hailstorm, Slipstream and Shadow Striker.[1] Armed with the weapon mode of her partner Fireglide, the skilled warrior will stare down any threat and throw herself headlong into the fire, in the name of the Decepticon legacy.[2]

"Team Stream Mark Two is here, losers! Bigger, badder, and stealing your subline!"
  • Decepticon Flamewar with Fireglide (Deluxe Class, 2022)
Shattered Glass Collection "Decepticon Flamewar" is a redeco of Legacy Prime Universe Arcee in a color scheme that combines elements of the BotCon 2014 and 2019 IDW continuity versions of Generation 1 Flamewar (using the BotCon version's silver midriff, chest flames and clear purple elements, and the IDW version's red forearms and chest and yellow accents) that transforms into a '90s-style sportbike motorcycle, much like a Kawasaki Ninja ZX-7R. Her accessories include two Energon blades, which can mount to her motorcycle mode, as well as form a shield in robot mode. Her front tire can be detached and split open to reveal an Energon blaster. Flamewar also comes with the Battle Master Fireglide.
This figure was also retooled into Velocitron Speedia 500 Collection Road Rocket and Toxitron Collection Laser Cycle, then later being retooled further into Cybertronian Erial.

  • Flamewar is colored just like the modern appearances of her positive-universe counterpart, with the only marker of her as a Shattered Glass character being her red Decepticon badge, which fairly blatantly marks her as intended to be repurposed as Generation 1 Flamewar—an odd choice, but one that is not without precedent, as in the cases of BotCon Shattered Glass Jazz and Octopunch.
  • In an interesting ouroboros of continuity swapping and jumping pages on this wiki, the Generation 1 incarnation of Flamewar in the Earth Wars mobile game, modeled upon the original Flamewar toy, would receive a visual skin based on the Shattered Glass Collection Flamewar toy, and also be partnered with a visually-unaltered Generation 1 incarnation of Fireglide.
