Izzy recently moved to Witwicky, where she and Robby Malto soon took a liking to each other. With her skills in athletics and combat — enough to keep up with Robby's Cyber-sleeve — maybe there could be more to her than meets the eye.

While attending a fair, Izzy was buying a funnel cake when she encountered Robby Malto, who coincidentally had the same taste in funnel cake toppings. She shared her cake after Robby accidentally dropped his, and the pair tried out carnival games until finally queuing for Cosmic Thunder. They had to escape to safety after Fairmaestro commandeered the ride and Robby ended up cyber-syncing with Mo, Twitch and Thrash thanks to the emotions he was feeling from his crush on Izzy. In the aftermath of the chaos, Robby managed to find Izzy and finally got her name. The Butterfly Effect The kids later worked out that Robby's crush on Izzy and the associated emotions was what had caused them to cyber-sync. Togetherness
Robby intercepted Izzy after school and managed to ask her to come hang out with him that night. This turned out to entail the rest of Robby's family organizing a drive-in movie event during which they attempted to provide a extra-sensory experience by blowing leaves and various other hijinks. The latter half of the movie ended up with Robby and Izzy being transported inside of it, thanks to Nightshade's hyper-reality film projector creating a pocket reality. The pair were forced to battle a giant Mole Bot, which they defeated thanks to a plan Izzy rapidly came up with, and they were successfully extracted from the film before the ending in which Nucleadon destroyed the city. Despite this experience, Izzy was open for a future date with Robby. Attack of the Drive-In Movie
At some point Izzy returned Robby's cap. The Truth Is Out There She videocalled Robby the next day to see if he wanted to hang out, but he was busy on a super-secret Autobot mission. Fire and Ice During another hang out, Izzy and Robby played paper football and she asked him about how the Autobots were doing following their recent experience with the Hate Plague. Robby was called away to attend an Autobot meeting, during which he was drafted into Prowl's investigation into said Hate Plague. This eventually led them to Robby's hat, and by following the traces, they eventually found a Quintesson shapeshifter making a report to its superiors. A chase ensued through Witwicky, only for it to take on the form of Izzy, at which point Robby realized she had been a Quintesson from the start. Izzy was captured and imprisoned at the Autobot base. The experience left Robby depressed, carrying around the sardines from the funnel cake that he and Izzy had shared, and asserting he would never date again. Judgment Day, Part 1
