For countless eons, Cybertron has existed as a world of metal. It was not always so. Long before the first Transformers came about, Cybertron was a world of the organic, with animal lifeforms that roamed its surface. That is gone now, but the past remains in the organic core of Cybertron. And the seeds of the future lie buried in the past.

That's deep, or something.

The organic core of Cybertron was created by the Oracle, the assistant of Primacron. Shortly after creating Unicron, Primacron and Oracle's new creation rebelled against his creators. His simian body destroyed, Oracle fled from Primacron within the Matrix of Leadership and arrived at a barren planet, where he emptied the contents of the Matrix (his own essence) into the planet's core. The Oracle became one with the planet and created a paradise that turned the planet lush and green. However, the Oracle was later enslaved by the Quintessons, who transformed the planet into the mechanical world of Cybertron and the Oracle himself into Vector Sigma.
