This blog is a mix of fandoms (mostly manganime), things that make me laugh, art pieces I either create or enjoy, and topics I consider important or relevant. Please abide by my rules of conduct.

current fan creation landscape is kinda like if you went to a party with a homemade cake and everyone takes a slice and silently thumbs up at you with no attempt to start a conversation except for occasionally some guy sits in the corner with a tape recorder critiquing the cake as though he was a restaurant critic and another guy is handing the cake to an uber driver like “yeah i need you to find a restaurant that makes cake like this so i can have more of it” and the only person that’s talked to you in 30 minutes is a very sweet little guy who was like “hey i liked your cake” and then ran away apologizing for bothering you the moment you said thank you.
someone brought a cake analysis robot to feed the cake into to determine the exact ingredients and supposedly it can spit out the exact same cake. and if you’re like dude. what. then they’re like well if it bothers you you should have made more cake. i’m hungry and i deserve cake. and you’re like dude we’re at a party.
Three months later you find out that fifty people locked themselves in a room to discuss how much they loved your cake and how they wished you made more. None of them ever told you.
so for the love of god. please tell people you liked their cake and don’t feel embarrassed about it. because then they will make more cake.
I don’t mean to be old but computer used to just have games. U didnt have to pay for em either but if u wanted u could get a little CD that put the game onto the computer and you could play it forever and ever even if the company that made it went to hell and shit. You didn’t even need the internet or wifi or anything. And it was pretty neat
Excluding the crucial fact that office jobs pay you an income….if staying home to raise children and do chores and bake bread was really so much easier and more joyful than working in an office on some objective level, why aren’t men doing it? Why aren’t they chomping at the bit to be ~leisurely house husbands~ to a working wife? Why aren’t they stepping up to depend solely on someone else’s income in exchange for round-the-clock domestic labor, if it’s really as blissful and their propaganda suggests? Curious.
Thank you! This is such an important reminder.
another commission for @paintedwarpony, their firbolg Brunnera and everyone’s favorite hot boy Verin! thank you for letting me do what i was put on this earth for (drawing original characters romancing Verin) 💜
Irina in Chapter 63.
And Zandeh in Chapter 138.
How lucky Hilmes is to have two people who love him this much. Their choice of words differs slightly, but it’s similar enough that this recent moment with Zandeh immediately brought to my mind the earlier scene with Irina.
