A fantasy digital painting of two shadar-kai elves sorrounded in darkness. Both figures have am almost undead appearence, with veins visible near their mouth and eyes. The upper, more masculine bald figure is facing away from the viewer, hiding a scar peeking out from the left side of his face, his raven wings and dark robes framing him and the second figure as he places one hand over one of her eyes, and is holding an elaborate karambit-inspired knife to her neck with the other. The second figure is more feminine looking, with curly black hair falling on her shoulders and face. One of her eyes is visible through her hair and the hand of the man, and she looks at a newborn crow she is holding in her cupped hands. She is wearing a simple long sleeved dress and cape, and is sorrounded by falling crow feathers. The colorscheme is dark and almost grayscale, with hints of reds and blues in the darker and lighter areas respectively.ALT

This piece was inspired by some happenings in the DnD campaign mastered by a friend, my character Illanith losing her faith in the Raven Queen after some unsettling discoveries…
