I’m Australian and am going to be really damaged once the ban happens, if it does. My life is almost completely surrounded by social media, I’d probably kill myself without it, I have such great online friends and supportive influences I see online and my entire world would probably shatter if they do end up doing the ban. I would lose contact to all my favourite people and mental health services. The government wants “children” to have childhoods like theres but that’s really not possible, modern day parents are weary to let their kids outside freely and things just wouldn’t be the same.

this is absolutely horrendous. is there any word of protest/movements that will cause disruption to the law actually being implemented??? please share if there’s anything we can keep helping with!

I really have no idea if people have planned a protest or not- problem with aus is that ppl don’t seem to care but when things get messy they complain
