Do other people in the world really believe the genocide is over or that conditions have improved? They began starving the North in March last year and then continued to starve the whole Strip for a year and now they are starving the whole Gaza Strip again this March, in Ramadan.

Genocide is an act of collective punishment and neglect of the most essential life sources.

In reality they began committing genocide against the people of Gaza the day that the siege on Gaza was imposed. What we continue to witness since Oct 7th is only the same genocide accelerated which I will never stop repeating.

Not only that, the murder by aircraft has not stopped. israel's fascist death machines are still hovering and threatening and firing and killing people in their tents, in their damaged homes, in cars, at people trying to rebuild...their thirst for Palestinian blood is literally infinite.

Even if the fire stopped, it would still be genocide. There is no such thing as an israeli ceasefire because they practice murder by freezing and starving and medically neglecting and physically and psychologically torturing Palestinians too.

[hear me now] You blink down at your phone screen, and the single notification of a missed call from Wonwoo. There are no messages from him, nor any indication towards what the call could've been about. At first, your heart raced at the possibility of an emergency, but it's just one call from fifteen minutes ago. Surely, if it was an emergency, he'd call again, right?

After pressing "call back", you lift your phone up to your ear and wait for the dial tone. It only rings once.

"Hey," comes Wonwoo's voice, and because you know him, you can hear his smile in the single word.

"Hey," you parrot. "How are the boys?"

"They're fine."

You chuckle a bit, expecting him to say more about the group that hasn't been able to hang out as a whole in months. It's not that they don't care enough about each other -- it's that coordinating a meetup between 13 people is about as easy as teaching a pug calculus.

"Just fine?" you ask.

"Yeah." He's still smiling; you're sure of it.

You smile too. "What was the call for, then?"

"Just wanted to hear your voice."

Your heart warms, and at the same time, you hear approximately twelve groans in the near distance.

"Come collect your mans!" Seungkwan whines in the background. "He's literally only talked about you for the past two hours!"
