See, that’s what the app is perfect for.

Sounds perfect Wahhhh, I don’t wanna

Well helloooo 2022. I was late to the Tumblr party, and it seems by the time I figured out how to transfer my stuff over from Blogger, everyone had migrated to Instagram and other platforms. But I keep this Tumblr as an archive, of my process and also of the person I was while I was making things. I’m sorry I don’t post here anymore or answer messages, but for anyone looking, I have a newly refreshed website with links that hopefully answer any questions you may have. Thanks for reading, and for your support, from the bottom of my heart.

At Comics Camp, so happy I found time outside of schlepping coolers and making giant pots of ratatouille to go on two hikes and do my first two light studies on the new iPad. I’m still getting used to the brushes, but it was so nice to try to chase the moving light. We painted independently, then came back to give each other feedback, then painted some more. It was heaven.

Very proud to have worked on this children’s book with Bao Phi, who also came to the US as a small child in the shadow of the Vietnam War. It is a love letter to the children we were, the children we have, and the parents who had the impossible job...

Very proud to have worked on this children’s book with Bao Phi, who also came to the US as a small child in the shadow of the Vietnam War. It is a love letter to the children we were, the children we have, and the parents who had the impossible job of not just caring for us in a new country, but also explaining to us where we came from. Happy book birthday! #BaoPhi #ThiBui #Capstone #ADifferentPond
