I think relationships, be they romantic or platonic, between tinies and giants are so funny bc like, you're a giant and you look at your tiny friend/family member/lover and you just get that feeling of

"oh look haha it's literally the person I love the most in the whole wide world haha it's all of my world and home compressed into a teeny tiny being hahaha it's- it's the reason I'm happy fitting in my hand, my whole heart beats for them and they take such a small physical space hehehe yeah if anything ever happens to them I literally can't see myself living another day hahahaha :)"

and then they just go on with their day like broo all of your love takes like- a few centimeters, get a life dudeee (i'm dude)

Very frankly I have envisioned every possible way of holding a tiny person in my mind and I am very normal. I have thought in depth about this and I like the different take this bit of art has from the usual holding positions. Lifting someone up by their shirt is just kinda vulnerable and insensitive. Straight up grabbing someone like a Funko Pop figure is very obviously not all too respectful and may also scare them half to death. and very frankly in any good bit of gt the natural evolution of a relationship between the person in the giant role and the person in the tiny role is either them becoming so comfortable and trusting around their giant friend that they're just cool with being yoinked whenever. Or it ends up in the tiny having genuine anxiety about being picked up and asking to just... step on the giant's hand. Both are very cool evolutions to the relationship. And both involve mutual respect, care, and understanding. Main difference is the personality of the tiny. Are they the type who'd love being picked up and jumpscared by their giant friend/partner they love and care for? Or do they hate feeling vulnerable and are more so the type to wanna be asked no matter the context. Wanting to have control over the situation. This doesn't mean that the relationship is more frayed because of this, it very much so can be just as beautiful and wholesome as the former. It would be an extra aspect of life to manage though if a giant and a tiny are living together. There are many different kinda human connections, bonds, relationships, all that. There's a lot out there. And gt adds a cool extra layer to it. Also it's cool to me being able to tell that that's Odile's hand.

So, I wanted to play around with Procreate Dreams and I thought it would be a good time to try making my first animatic.

This scene is from Chapter 9 of @ratcatcher0325 story Nobody's Fool. If you haven't read it (and I suggest you do!) it's set in a world where tiny people are kept as pets and disregarded by humans as nothing more than that. One such pet named Penn finds out he has musical talent. A band decides to give him a chance as their frontrunner. This is his first song ever performed in front of humans.

So please enjoy 2 minutes of some really terrible drawings but some really good music.
