As I mentioned before, I fell behind on keeping the spreadsheets updated (but have been reblogging anything submitted/tagged with the blog) but now @deansrightfulangerissue is not only helping me with that, but is SUPER improving how it works - like, on the setup side for our end and some of the readability on your end!

(It’s Magic I tell you!) 

Anyway, I thought I’d bump and pin this particular post as it has all the relevant information currently - with not only a link to the MasterList itself, but another link to how to use the spreadsheets to search for things if you’re not already familiar with how they work - just allow the spreadsheet a little time to load up all the tabs and you’ll be good to go!

Remember that the Spreadsheets are always under construction as new events are added and some fall into inactivity.

🌸 Spn Spring Fling 🌸

Spring Fling event is a rapid-fire, double-blind, anonymous exchange challenge, in which you'll give your likes and dislikes and get matched with a similar giftee. You get given a brief set of prompts to make something for someone else, 2 weeks to create your mini fic/art/vid, and a lower AND upper limit on the size of your work. Event is Ship and Gen inclusive. Short and sweet, like a spring fling! The mods will post creations anonymously over spring and creator reveals will be made at the end.

You do not have to be a regular livejournal user to participate, just as long as you have a username on LJ/DW/tumblr/AO3.

Sign ups close 4 Apr. Assignments given 6 Apr. Works created 7-20th apr. Anonymous posting 21-28 Apr. Creator reveals 12 May.

It's a new season now that spring is here, which means new prompts for the 2025 Waxing Crescent Round have been posted up! You can view each one via the prompt card below:

Fandom-Free Bingo: Fool's Edition!

Note: From the end of April, we will no longer be reblogging fills from Maritime May Cards. The AO3 collection will remain open indefinitely, however, and any Tumblr post that fills MM prompts and any prompt from a later edition will still be reblogged on those grounds. This means that posts covering exclusively Maritime May prompts or earlier will no longer be reblogged <3  Now, on to April! Love 'em or hate 'em, pranks have existed since humanity first put whoopie to cushion, and in honour of that, this month we're holding FOOL'S EDITION!

- Turnaround time is hopefully no longer than a week. If you've been waiting longer than this, please feel free to reach out!

- Feel free to interpret the prompts however you wish - the world is your oyster! <3 Note: Terms with a stereotypically applied gender (e.g 'Princess', 'king') are not gender-restricted! → The card only has 9 squares total, no free space. Because this card is small and premade, we won't be offering swaps. However, there will be 3 alternate squares at the bottom of the card. Vaderkin Creative Exchange 2025!

Hello and welcome! This is a gift exchange in four steps, organised by the Vaderkin Community (Vaderkin is a lightning rod discord) around Anakin | Vader's character, to increase interactions between writers and artists and give everyone some time to shine!

✒️ Step 1: Writers write prompts for artists, everyone get matched depending on sign up answers.

🎨 Step 2: Artists have one month and a half to draw one or more works from the prompts they received.

✒️ Step 3: Arts reveal. Writers get assigned one or several art pieces and have one month and a half to write a minimum 500 words story inspired from them.

🎨 Step 4: Fics reveal. Drawing festival, every artist can draw fanart over the new stories created from the event (and be reblogged by this tumblr for it).

All works (art and fic) from tumblr will be reblogged by the Vader Community and all works (art and fic) from ao3 can be added to the event collection. For this, the works need to be tagged properly with "Vaderkin creative exchange 2025", as well as the tag "explicit" if it is explicit (smut, strong graphic violence) work.

Overall, it’s a typical gift exchange, only writers prompts will be in image rather than words, and everyone is strongly encouraged to have fun and try their hand at sketching during the ’drawing festival’.

Here we are again! The second year of AitCM!

It's a good month to whump our favorite characters!

In AitCM, to complete, you only have to write 15 days, and the other fifteen days you read & rec a fic that fits one the prompts for the day. (Feel free to create and promote art pieces as well!)

This not only makes it easier to fit into a busy schedule, but it helps promote your favorite writers!

You are more than welcome, of course, to write all thirty days or rec all thirty days—or both—but that is not necessary to complete the challenge.

Last year's Big Bang far exceeded our expectations, and we are so proud of all our participants and artists! We've been busy working behind the scenes to make this year's event even better, and to that end, we are looking to expand our mod team.

Specifically, we’re looking for a graphics mod to wrangle our adorable mascots and disseminate important information about our event.

Almost all of our information is pre-written, but we know it can all get a little dense! Someone who can grab attention with an announcement banner, or wrap up the major points in a tidy graphic, would be a great addition to our team.
