Send literally anything you want & it'll be posted even if we don't agree with it necessarily. SPOILERS ARE FINE, AND WILL TRY TO TAG PROPERLY, BUT TO BE SAFE MAYBE JUST BLOCK THE TAGS AROUND NEW CONTENT AND UPDATES. NSFW IS FINE TOO. Be silly, be cursed, be vulnerable, be concerned. Just know your ancestors, other envoys, and tenno will all look upon what you send.

#I think this is a very much self imposed feeling because the devs were saying we choose whether they get back together or not#or just kinda hinting at that being how their route is supposed to go rather than a good or bad ending for those two#that plus the fact that from what I’ve gathered their entire route isn’t out yet so you don’t really gotta do anything you don’t want to#afaik anyway like 1999 KIM system part 2 is probably even more optional than dating the protoframes but we can’t say for sure yet#it’s only been out for a little bit so I would just give it time and see how things play out for now#sorry if the divorce or don’t divorce reveal is a spoiler I watch the interviews and dev shorts and streams so I get a lot of external#knowledge before hand that way but I know some folks prefer to dive in with no scuba gear which is fair#but yeah Minerva and Velimir are an absolute mess xD#we’ll see if they continue to be based on the hints about us choosing how their relationship goes#mod rose#warframe confession#warframe#warframe 1999#minerva hendricks#velimir volkov

#in the previous Flare anon comments I addressed all the nuance about it being a collab I feel like pretty well but I was half awake#Mark Holcomb was a collab voice actor and the update was a band x warframe collab pretty much I feel like but it still does feel weird#I saw the interview with Ticker’s queer VA and while I understand he was coming from a place of love I do still feel he should work with#a trans VA and so should DE to recast Ticker even thou she is an open world faction NPC and rarely gets new lines or lore#which brings me to my next point of no Cy wasn’t out when Ticker was but Star Days iirc in its initial conception was post railjack but was#rushed initially iirc. don’t quote me on that but I remember not being motivated to play star days when it released so that’s the context I#have for that particular event. Cephalon Cy is more core gameplay and mainline gameplay integrated so her getting new lines as him tracks#the side content gets less attention because it’s so out of the way thou I think they’re trying to fix that with 1999 a bit regarding#warframe’s content island problem by making end game rewards be part of the island grind thus making it something older players also play#anyway all that said is Ticker was out b4 Cy & railjack and it still feels yucky to me & lowkey transphobic that both trans characters have#cisgender voice actors even if there were good intentions behind it and DE has multiple transfem warframe partners in the partner program#of course it’s one thing to have people in your partner program be out trans people and another to cast trans characters with trans VAs#and that’s not even getting into the fact that the current trans VAs in game sound palatable to cis people and a cis audience; that’s a#whole other can of worms that I’m sure someone more educated than me has talked about in great detail; anyway yeah it’s just something to#be critical of going forward but also recognizing the nuances of they used to moreso hire VAs in-house as opposed to reaching outside#the digital extremes studio for casting and that the recent one was a music collab but that oof that’s 2 times a trans character has a#cisgender voice actor and that does sting a bit no matter how you slice it at the end of the day so I get what you mean anon but yeah#wanted to make sure I covered all my bases in regards to the nuance of this again while still acknowledging it does kinda suck :/#warframe confession#warframe#mod rose#I reached the 20 tag limit so putting this here that like yeah we have a right to feel angry and upset about it while still recognizing the#not only rushing of updates but that hiring in-house and hiring your friend to do voice work is faster than hiring outside the DE studio#IDK the current financial state of warframe but overall I hope they take more time to polish these updates because while banging out lore#after lore upd8 is really cool from a story perspective it’s worrying from a polishing perspective kinda idk what I’m saying here but yeh#I absolutely think Ticker should be recast btw and I think the ideal way to do it is to have a transfem VA work with the current one and DE#to nail down Ticker’s character and give a trans voice actor their place in the spotlight aside from being relegated to ‘cis sounding’#roles and characters which again like I said is a whole other Pandora’s box that would warrant an essay length post to talk about#and feel that I’ve properly articulated and researched and blah blah you get it; the voice acting industry has a trying to be palatable to#cis people problem and we all know it’s an issue and we can recognize it as such okay I’ll stop rambling I think I’m about to reach 30 tags

There's tons of promo-only content that needs to be added to the actual game. Such as Ballas's prime trailer monologues

For the Captain Vor one, I would be hardly surprised if this got retconned because the queens sound like Rebecca or Megan though they could easily explain it with body swapping in-universe.

In general, there's a lot of lore missing from the early game bc it's buried in promo material. The biggest thing I can think of is the Grineer-Corpus War that's going on in the background.

Also everything that Alad V did.

Interesting you mention that Alad V lore because they've actually been working on implementing promo cinematics (a bit changed but you can see the reused animations and lines) into the early game as of like last year apparently.

Maybe with the Captain Vor rework we will also see the Vor talking to Twin Queens cutscene tweaked and reused as well since they clearly still have those animations on file somewhere.

#I sent this one in I’ll confess so maybe my account is just glitched and it didn’t play the cinematic idk but it’s just such a shame some#of these good short cinematics which are using game models I assume are just completely left out of the game#there’s only like less than 10 cases of this happening but the fact that it’s like this at all is a tiny gripe I have with the game#I’m not talking about the super movie budget film level cinematics either like with Margulis holding the operator and those ones#I just mean the ones that look like they should be in the game accessible to watch because they use the models and tilesets#there’s the Pregasa and Natah one; the twin queens and captain Vor#and now this one with the protoframes#why aren’t these in game? no idea#there are probably others that I’m just not thinking of that would be classified as cutscenes that belong in game#is it because they retconned what was shown? who knows! no one ever asks about it because it’s not as well known#mod rose#warframe confession#warframe 1999#warframe
