The Goblin's Oracle Dice return for their final iteration. Two full 22-dice sets of divinatory click-clacks. One from the past editions, now called The Seasons Set. One all-new, The Key Keepers Set.

Choose which dice will foretell the future, then cast them over the reading grids. Four reading grids offer versatility in your readings, and 44 dice to choose from means you can tailor your focus quite clearly.

With guidebooks to teach you the nuances of each die, cheat sheets to make learning easier than ever, and wooden carry boxes, as well as an all-new Chest to store the full sets with all their extras, this is the final edition for a reason. This is the Oracle Dice as they were meant to be.

We launch May 1st, will you join us on Backerkit?

HISTORIC is a grimdark dungeon delver TTRPG run on cards. If you want a game with 6 super unique classes, pick-up-and-play-ability, and a legacy sticker mechanic to make future games different, this is not a game you can afford to miss!

Just 3 hours left now, and we're looking for that final hour push! Join me at 1.30pm MST on the campaign page for the end of funding livestream, and ask questions about what all I'm up to!

In the Final Edition of the Goblin's Oracle Dice, our 2nd edition dice set is becoming The Seasons Set, and more than the 22-dice set, the 2-sided reading cloth, and the updated guidebook, the set comes together in a flip top box.

If you've ever wanted to experience divination in a whole new gorgeous medium, you'll want to be ready for May 1st, one month from today, when The Goblin's Oracle Dice goes live for funding on Backerkit!

Our incredible artist Salty Water has been hard at work with gorgeous meme illustrations of our classes to promote the game, entirely because they love the characters!

So enjoy the Malefact Bonecutter sicking his lizard mount on us, the Caged Wraith striking a Jojo pose, the wittle Organ Eater among viscera, and Ratsune Squeaku-- I mean, the Maker of Hands dancing a jig out for us!

We have just 48 hours left for the Backerkit campaign on this grimdark dungeon delver in a box, so gear up my friends and get in on this with us! Join over 200 other people in pledging for a copy of this amazing new TTRPG that runs on cards!

What's that, you love dice and divination, but don't know how to combine your loves? What a mood, however there is a way to do it!

The Goblin's Oracle Dice launches May 1st. With two different 22-dice sets of oracle dice, each with their own guidebook and 2-sided reading cloth, these oracle dice will give you a new way to do your divination, inspired by bone and charm casting, with a tarot twist.

PATREON!

Did you know that there's a Publishing Goblin Patreon??

Aside from WIP Wednesday posts which let you know everything I've been up to the past week, you also get day 0 access to any backerkit projects! This means you can pledge for projects before they even launch, grabbing those early birds and limited time addons.

And you get access to a trove of older stories still on the page, and any future content! All for just $1 a month.

The incredible art by Salty Water is an obvious reason to buy in on this game, but the fact that it's a pick up and play, legacy rogue-like game that can fill in when your Cleric is missing for D&D. You get the choice of whether you play a long or short game, and each run will empower your copy of the game for next time.

I posted about Mattie on Bluesky and it's by far the most popular thing I've posted there. My fursona continues to be wildly more famous than I am.

It feels in character that Mattie is more famous than me. He doesn't even have a job. He just sits there and gets attention. I have to WORK unlike his useless ass.

Didn't you say he's in software at some point? He's a programmer of some kind?

I immediately went to bsky to add you and like your fursona. Just to keep that ratio going.

i wish i could see this picture for the first time again

Every time I see some gamerbro edit of a female video game character to make her 'prettier', I always see something I have mentally dubbed Cockroach Wife Syndrome (in honor of the guy who accidentally conditioned himself to only be aroused by a fantasy of his cockroach wife Ogtha).

That is to say, there is a certain subset of gamerbro who interacts so rarely with real women, that his primary touchstone for how women look is fiction: often video games and anime. So when a video game woman looks too realistic--too close to having traits that one might find in real flesh and blood women--this is foreign to them. This is unattractive. They have been jacking it to hentai and blender animation porn for too many years, and have inadvertently conditioned themselves to only be sexually aroused by the exaggerated cartoonish traits of animated women.

So now every time I see one such edit, I can't help but think. My. What a coincidence you've made her look more like an anime waifu. Truly dedicated to your cockroach wife.

We've already did a throwback of our original post about this hilarious redesign before, but in light of what we discussed re: Silent Hill 2 and Stellar Blade nerdbro meltdowns lately, @azzandra summarizes this sadly topical problem perfectly.

People who insist on those sorts of edits, or who photoshop smiles on Marvel movie heroines, or throw a hissy fit because two square inches of pixel cleavage or butt were "censored" with character model update, clearly have a case of "literally divorced my sexual preference from real life humans and will make it everyone else's problem" disease. I'd prescribe touching some grass for that.

And no, frankly, itย doesn't really matter if they're in fact irony-poisoned or otherwise insincere, as long as they're acting so loudly and publicly asย ifย they truly felt that way. Ironic incel is still, for all intents and purposes, just another incel.

BTW, if you haven't heard of the tulpa Cockroach Wife Ogtha story and are feeling morbidly curious, please be warned of how potentially disturbing it is before googling the details.

I got Ground and actually Im so happy because my favorite pokemon is Cubone, and the idea of having my Cubone be my final super leveled pokemon alongside some other sweet friends would be so nice. If I can pick I always think like, ghost or bug or poison, but honestly Ground is such a lovely realization.

Okay, let's address the other elephant in the room. Is that... a gun?? Yeah well, not everything that happens in Ajurea unfolds quite the way you expect it to ! So let's take a look at some of the intense things that happen on the Goblin's journey!

We have to start with the moment that put a gun in the Goblin's hands to start with! The Knight of Wands sketch here by Sam Dow shows Jimmy Talon, rabble rouser and furious gay, on the warpath with the only one who was brave enough to go with him: Our Publishing Goblin!

Or the 7 of Wands sketch, which catches us in the midst of a protest crowd, demanding change! It takes great bravery to stand up for what you believe in, especially against the systems in power. Supporting this kind of radical opposition has changed the Pub Gob!

This kind of intentional bucking of the system can sometimes get you caught up in politics and tangles with the law, as seen in the sketch for the King of Swords!

Have you ever had to calm a raging shapeshifter, cursed by the moon? Yeah, the Goblin has, too. Weird that you've had to though. This is the Strength card!

Or perhaps tussled with a rogue entity within reflections, like the Devil card?? Gosh, that doesn't look any good at all my friends!

The Goblin even comes upon a seance with a spiritual medium, the likes of which the Goblin has never seen before! There are entire lineages whose souls have space for others to join them in their bodies, truly astounding!

Hungry for more? You can get this pin and more at the Goblin's Journey project below!

Well gosh, we haven't even talked about the elephant in the room-- or rather, the WALKING WORKSHOP. Yes, the Publishing Goblin's home in Ajurea is a walking workshop, named Workshop! And you can get an enamel pin of them sitting nicely here!

What does it look like to live in a walking Workshop? Well it means you always have a parade float for parades, as seen here in the Chariot art by Sam Dow for the upcoming Goblin's Tarot!

The sketch of the 4 of Coins does remind us that home ownership is not always so simple. Especially when your home with arms needs to be wound up regularly with giant clockwork keys and gears!

And like any good Fool card, you should always make sure your walking house is stationary before you try to step out the front door!

And while it's nice and spacious inside, there is always the comedy movie error of not letting other people inside to worry about-- they might paint all over the floors and walls! In the Page of Wands here, the Goblin's friend gets a bit overzealous with their painting spree.

As a workshop and home, our Goblin has made many things, written many books, served many friends, and found rest here day after day for years already, and years ahead to come.

And when we do come full circle to The World, we emerge from the front door of Workshop, with all our learned lessons from our journey. Come get your own Workshop pin in the Goblin's Journey backerkit project as we enter our final 6 hours!

This morning, we don't look at another Goblin pin just yet-- those are still ahead. However, we do HAVE to look at the Goblin's friends on their journey. And what better one to start with than Glammy the glamordillo!? What IS a Glamordillo you might ask?

Created for my first crowdfunding project ever, Umbra & Mirn, glamordillos live in the world of Mirn, where they are glass animals that roam the plains and eat small crystals. But now, they are enamel pins and plushies!

During the Goblin's Journey, they met an exotic pet salesman who offered a glamordillo of the Goblin's choice from a set of 6 bowls, where the glamordillo kits slept. You can see this illustrated in the linework of the 6 of Cups from the upcoming Goblin's Tarot.

After this moment, you can find Glammy in dozens of other cards in the deck, accompanying the Goblin everywhere. On a walk outside, planting a little seedling, having a nice meal, being held close, doing some work, attending a wedding, and reminding the Goblin what they're looking for.

Glammy is an incredible helper and friend, not just a pet! So come take a look at the Goblin's Journey backerkit project now in our final 8 hours and claim a Glammy of your own in enamel pin or plushie form!
