My name is Sayde! I’m a full time illustrator and concept artist currently working at EA Games (all of my opinions are my own btw)

You perhaps know me from my Hawkeye phase, Percy Jackson phase, the last of us phase, or my current red dead redemption phase

A lot of my work is original character art as well as fanart sprinkled in!

The two characters I talk about most are Mattie and Flora - a story I’m working on to make a solid portfolio

How do I get into these situations... lesbianism really gets me into so many situations that I don't need to be in

I love my job sometimes cause one week I'll be agonizing over design work and logos and stuff and then the next week I'm fully rendering a medieval style dragon from my dreams that in my normal life I'd never think to draw, and I get to realize that I really like drawing dragons

I heard someone say modern baseball in the office today and had a physical reaction to it

I'm really feeling my ai hatred rn don't mind me I'm just seething on the train thinking about it on my way to work

Arthur morgan would hate Ai art... he'd be like... that ain't natural... think about what he'd think of you using smth civilization made to pretend you are making art... something he greatly enjoys xoxoxo

I might have to give Nintendo more of my money cause oh my god wind waker on the switch....... AHHHA

I actually adore my job

I love my colleagues and I love almost everything I'm making

I'm learning a lot, and I'm given so many opportunities to grow as a professional and individual

One of the only things I dislike is the rampant talk about the validaty of ai art within a studio work flow

Working in the gaming industry as a young queer artist is just dodging questions about your opinion on Ai art from your colleagues and working so much overtime

Crazy thing about Ai is that we don't have to use it... remember that you have a brain and do not need a robot to make lists for you or do your homework or make art for you

You are capable of that. Don't let a bot convince you that you are too lazy and too busy to function without it. What is being a human supposed to be if we don't actually participate in the mundane of making a grocery list by hand.
