Finally doing an Introduction post 👀
It’s quite long, so I’ll put it as a “Read more”
On the second day of the 30-Days questions,
I have one for yooouuu ✨✨
Random question of the day issss
Did Gidget rip the head off of her dolls? (If she had any) :3
LOL no at least not on purpose, though they did cut a lot of their hair off, threw them up in trees, put them in a giant barbie trailer and sent them hurtling down the stairs and gave them bandages based on their injuries, had singing concerts, bounced them against the side of their inflatable swimming pool and gotten them caught in the gutters, and sanded one of their boobs off once
May I just note how intriguing I find it that you created a character, and then became just completely enamoured with them(Genzou)
lol I also don't know how it happened, I'll be real. I didn't go into production feeling like it. in fact, I don't think I even started to feel this way until around arc 4 or so, and it kept getting stronger from there as I worked on the game and all the other side games and projects too. It was a slow burn LOL
I wonder if part of it is because of a weird phenomenon I've noticed in myself in general as production went on where I felt less and less like they were my own characters and more like I was just part of the fandom and happened to be writing their story HAHAHA also perhaps my deteriorating mental health made me attach to him even more for comfort. unsure
Thoughts on Gidget x Orlam? I think it has some queer platonic potential. Especially in wonderland. Rich besties partners in crime style
i swear i answered something similar to this before but i went and tried to find it and i couldn't
i think it would be very interesting and probably work really well for both of them i'll be honest LOL i don't really personally ship it but they complement each other very well and i already think they'd probably get along the best as a duo between the five (and we already know from OC that things have happened before...) so i think if anyone wants to run with it that's cool
He's eeping honk shoo honk shoo 💤💤
(decided to make a new post for each day since the original was starting to get a bit full LOL)
Who's your favorite OW character? Or, who do you relate to the most?
It's no secret that I relate to Iggy the most. He just has the most of Me inside of him as a character, from his anxiety, to his journey figuring out his asexuality, to his difficulties dealing with people, even down to a lot of his little mannerisms, much of Iggy came from me.
However, Gidget also has a big part of me in them, as well, especially when it comes to their past experiences and their own struggles with their gender identity. Though each of the OW characters has a little bit of me somewhere in them, these two definitely have the most.
Now, who is my favorite character...? Well... I will just say it's probably pretty obvious LOL 🤭 I can't help it; he is my everything. I think he is the cutest thing ever. He makes my heart flutter. And what's more, he gives me ace catharsis euphoria in his no-questions-asked acceptance and love of Iggy. I love him sob.
Day 2: Well if we're talking about favorites than it has to be the Ginger™️ I remember feeling really guilty for liking him when he started to do all those things to Iggy and Genzou in arc 2 but I couldn't help but feel intrigued by his character. Like what do you mean his anger and despair and insanity was so well-written that I could feel how visceral it was???
It started off as me liking his complexities as a mix of antagonist and old friend who had been hurt before and my Emotions™️ about Orlam only increased in arc 3. Man, arc 3. It was the first time we really see Orlam be vulnerable and that really hit me. Cause we see Orlam as this big bad during all the other arcs but then arc 3 pulls the curtain back and shows you that Orlam's just human and I always enjoyed Orlam's character so it was just. It was cool. Seeing that vulnerability also made it sting more when all the horrors happened because we could recognize the emotions behind it and we could still recognize that it was horrific and holy christ.
I think it's cool that he had so much depth and that he could be sharp and also soft and that he seemed untouchable but you could see him fraying if you looked closely. I loved the way he was written and what his true personality was like and that he was allowed to be himself at the end. I loved how he was free with his relationships, free with his love, free with himself. I loved his sarcasm and his fancy words and just. I dont know man. I might have gone overboard with this hahhsbd well the point is!! My favourite character is Orlam and I think he's simply quite cool (minus the horrors /hj)
i dont consider myself a 'fashion guru' by any means but one thing i will say is guys you dont need to know the specific brand an item you like is - you need to know what the item is called. very rarely does a brand matter, but knowing that pair of pants is called 'cargo' vs 'boot cut' or the names of dress styles is going to help you find clothes you like WAAAYYYY faster than brand shopping
this also goes for aesthetic or -core titles. 'y2k tank top' is going to get you resellers and fast fashion brands advertising to people looking to meet a current trend. 'thin strap crop tank top' is going to get you a diverse group of results and not upcharge you to hell and back
additionally, shop second hand when you can, second hand and thrift sites typically organize clothes by the cut and color. theyll be more affordable than a depop seller curating you a style to sell you
useful terminology for different kinds of clothing shapes :)
