What are beta tesing files?

Beta testing files are files that have not been tested by other individuals besides myself in the game. Therefore, there may or may not be errors or imperfections to be corrected before the final rendition. Beta testing files are therefore a way for you to get access to potentially imperfect (but potentially complete) files before the early access date.

How can I give feedback?

You are able to provide feedback for the in-progress meshes. This feedback can include technical issues you discovered or simply your own personal opinion. I will try my best to incorporate your feedback into the finished product. Please note every change cannot be guaranteed to be accommodated but will be taken into consideration, especially when creating new swatches. Some requested changes may be too intensive to implement in a reasonable time frame.

Feedback can be given as comment or private message on Patreon, or as a private or channel message on Discord.

What if the beta files cannot be fixed?

There are rare times when the beta files provided have minor issues that cannot be resolved within The Sims 4 game constraints. In these situations, the beta testing file will never be released to the public, as it does not meet my high quality standards. I will make a post that I have abandoned the beta file, at which point you will be aware that I will not be posting an updated version.
This is the only form of patreon-exclusivity and it is purely because quality standards are not met for public consumption. However, these files are usually perfectly fine for taking photos and will not break your game, they just may have issues with animating certain frames or with certain body types. These issues may seem minor, but do not meet my quality standards.

What is the difference between this and your non-Patreon beta testers?

I have beta testers in my discord server who are not patrons. The difference between patrons and my beta testers is that discord beta testers must give technical feedback on custom content or they are removed from the testing program. The feedback they give is purely technical, such as bad animations or holes in the mesh. If a beta tester downloads the files and does not provide feedback, they are removed from the testing channel.

When will I be billed?

If you subscribe after February 25th, 2023: You will be charged upon your first purchase and that will be considered the start date of your subcription. On that date of each month at midnight PST you will be charged for the following month. For example, if you subscribed on November 15th, you would have access until December 15th, when you would be charged for the following month, and so on.
If you subscribed before February 25th, 2023: Patreon bills on the first of each month at midnight Pacific Standard Time (PST). You are billed for the month starting the 1st, meaning, for example, if you were to be billed November 1st, you would have access to my content for the entire month of November. Please note that you have been switched to subscription billing, just as new patrons, listed above, but your "start date" for the subscription will be considered the first, so your experience will not change.
