Cards with stripes

There are many occasions to celebrate in life and sometimes you need a card that just embraces that. This one's for a friend of mine who took a radical change of direction in life and has just completed university studies, for the second time! That's certainly cause for celebration. This card isn't difficult but it is fiddly. Hi everyone! Gee Wiz! It has been a very long time since I've posted on my blog. Time goes by so quickly. Today I made a card for a challenge set by my friend Kylie Bertucci, based on her husband Bruno's Scrappy Strip Technique. Here is my card I created. I am so happy with how it turned out! There are more boys and men in my family then girls and I’m always on the look out for ideas for masculine cards. Saw this idea on Pinterest and knew I could make work. I used Simon Says Stamp Stitched Banners in various blues and a silver which the camera shows up as grey. I also used the stars from the Holiday Shapes and I used the different sizes although the original one used the same size. Finally cut out the Birthday die a couple times to layer together to show up better.
