Kathleen Neal Cleaver was the first women to be a member of The Black Panther Party's decision-making body.  In 1981, she received a full scholarship from Yale University and graduated two years later summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in history. Later, she graduated from Yale Law School. She is currently serving as faculty at Emory University School of Law.
