The artwork is usually but not exclusively on a white background with a dark black detail for increased contrast. The technique does not use shading but relies on distance between lines and contouring to create the illusion of depth and light. Emphasis- this is emphasis because the red dot is the main focal point. It is the center of attention and makes our eyes draw to that one dot.
