Catch their small works show for a beautifully curated selection of fine art again today, 12-3pm. This elevated Sunrise collection, explores the juxtaposition between hard and soft, resilient and vulnerable, fluid and rigid. The series was born out of time of shedding the old and welcoming in a brand new dawn, particularly for me, a transition into Motherhood. This work is an expression of the beautiful dichotomy that is Motherhood; both humbling and empowering, it is a time of softening and opening up while finding new strength, grit and tenacity. And since I’ve made a LOT of different walls over the years of doing this thing (Too many to count over 10 years of Art Pop-ups) and I finally feel like I have a go-to that works well, of course I’ll share! We needed something modular that I could load in and out, and move around easily AND that would fit into the back of a truck or van. But if you’re only doing this at home you could probably make each wall bigger - though having them be able to stack easily for storage is also helpful. We used 2x2x8 wood firring strips for the frames, which are super light weight and fairly inexpensive.
