I have had a fabulous response to my "Northern Lights" card using Lavinia Stamps, with some asking for a step by step guide. I am no photographer, but have made a duplicate card this evening with a photo step by step, so hope to show how to create the colourful skyscape. These are the products that I used to create the card. I started by using a blending tool and Distress Oxides. The first shade I used was Spiced Marmalade, then Crushed Olive, Picked Raspberry and Peacock Feathers. Finally…

Lavinia Stamps have released nine new stamps, so this morning I was stalking Postie. Fortunately they arrived late morning, so I have had a chance to play with a couple making this card. It features "Fip" the fairy and "Gip" the branch. I used a Lavinia sentiment called "Fairy Merry Christmas" too. I've stamped in Versafine Clair inks and created the background using Distress Oxide Inks. I've also used Gelly Roll Pens, Posca Pens and colouring pencils too.

I'm still playing with my new Lavinia Stamps, this time I used three of the stamps I've not already used. Starting with a background from my stash, I had fortunately written down on the back of it what I had used. In this case, it was a selection of Elements Inks on a gel plate.
