My name in fractions

Hello! Here is a hands-on product that will help reinforce so many fraction skills with your students! The first blank box is for students to write their first name in. I allow my students to use markers and make this really fun! The second blank box is to break up into a fraction bar. I have my students label each piece of the fraction bar with the unit fraction. This activity is great for students who are learning about fractions. They can have fun figuring out their names in fractions by finding the fraction of vowels in their name, the fractions of consonants in their name, and more which also provides practice with grammar. Children can have fun coloring their name and fraction parts as well! It is so important to give students many opportunities to practice with fractions before they begin to add, subtract, multiply, and divide them.
