Stephanie on Instagram: "The idea of the Pom Pom jar came from when I was student teaching in an elementary school. My mentor teacher had a Pom Pom jar that was used for random acts of kindness. Any time the students did an act of kindness, they would write it on a piece of paper in exchange for a Pom Pom. Once the jar was full, they would have a Pom Pom ceremony where they would read out all the acts of kindness. As a reward, the class could choose from pajama day, technology day, or extra recess. When I decided to introduce my jar to Aviana, I explained that it is a big girl thing that I used to do with the big kids when I was teaching in the schools. The way I have my jar work is when she does something such as make her bed, clean up her mess, or something responsible, she will earn a Pom Pom Jar, Pajama Day, Kids Rewards, Student Teaching, Random Acts Of Kindness, Big Kids, Elementary Schools, Something To Do, Pom Pom
