Allie Apels on Instagram: "Shake and Spill 💛❤️ We have been loving the math game Shake and Spill. It’s a great way to explore early addition and the different ways that you can make 10. My kinders loved it! Here are the instructions: 1. Put 10 double sided counter chips in a cup. 2. Shake the cup and spill the chips on to your table. 3. Without flipping the chips, group the reds and yellows together. 4. Count how many red chips you have. Colour the corresponding circles and record the number. 5. Count how many yellow chips you have. Colour the corresponding circles and record the number. 6. Then count how many you have all together. 7. Put the chips back in your cup. Shake and repeat. The template was a free download on TPT. Just search Shake and Spill. Thank you @miss.wlasuk for in Shake And Spill, Make 10, Math Game, Number 6, Number 5, Making 10, Kindergarten Math, Math Games, 1st Grade
