As noted above I have a few stories on the go but the one I mainly post about is what can only be described as a very loosely connected series of stories about a collection of miserable tenant farmers in the early nineteenth century in modern Northern Ireland. The main characters are a group of people all associated in some way with an agrarian anti-landlord terrorist group run by several of the main lads; but their families, their families’ families, the landlords in question, and other only marginally related people are all also part of it and are occasionally posted about.

- Desertion - a miserable deserter from the British army of the Napoleonic Wars returns home and grapples with suicidal ideation
- Van Diemen’s Land - the backstory of lad #1 from Eoin McBride; after nearly being transported he attempts to come to terms with the traumatic experience of incarceration
