A: it means i'm shocked but in a negative way. like you can't believe what you are seeing or hearing. i think it's similar to むかつく

If so

Appalled is used more when you are disgusted and upset with someone or something.

Shocked is used when you are very surprised.

A: You make me appalled doesn’t sound natural but you appalled me does. It’s even more natural to just say you appall me, so it’s in present tense instead of past tense.
