Not really. Those would be things you enjoy doing for leisure. Hobbies are related to things such as coin collecting, building furniture, etc.

In "my hobby is singing and dancing" it is one hobby so you probably sing at the same time as your dancing

With "my hobbies are singing and dancing" you have two hobbies, and probably enjoy one without having to do both

When you ask "what are some of your favorite hobbies?" you know that the person has hobbies, they will answer things like "reading, skating..". "Some of your favorite hobbies" means that you are assuming they have these some hobbies.

A penchant is a habit, or a tendency to do something.
He has a penchant for eating tacos. = He has a habit of eating tacos.

A: both sounds natural: to cook - means that the speaker enjoys being involved in actually preparing food, while cooking mean the same, but it could be used to indicate their interest in the subject, but not necessarily their involvement in the  activity.
